Scrambler pistols 
...and yeah, I spent a few weeks leveling up my AR, just so I would always have the option to use the one seemingly nerf-proof weapon. It's very, very effective (ahem), but man ... I hate using the thing. So ... boring. |

Yeah, I used to run shotty with my scout all the time, and had some good times with it. Then it just became so unreliable ... I couldn't deal with it anymore. Was costing me too many suits 
So now I have my Scrambler Pistols at Pro 3 ... and am having a lot of fun with 'em. Pistols are my favorite weapon in the game now, honestly... |

...and then there's matches like the one I just had, where a scout blasted me through a wall with his militia shotty and killed me. Yeah, it's ... a little unpredictable. I may have just broken my controller, actually...
Oh, and Monk ... if you're liking the militia scrambler pistol, just wait til you get a Viziam  |

^^^ Exactly this. All the guys saying that if you're having a problem with the shotty then you're a scrub are sort of missing the point, or have just been really fortunate with the thing. Lag and hit detection and any other random shotty bug of the week has nothing to do with skill. Sometimes the gun works for a guy, sometimes it doesn't ... and sometimes it shoots through walls and around corners. And you never know til you're in the match which it's going to be. At least, that's been my experience, and why I moved on.
And yeah, Checkmate is right, OZ ... the Flaylock does still work. I never really used it before the changes so I can't compare it to the old pre-nerf Flaylock, but when I want a break from my SP/SMG fit, a lot of times I pick up my Flaylock. Only have it at OP 5 (no Pro), but it's pretty good. |
