During the length of my play time today i could not deploy more than two uplinks. i have a lodgi suit with 2 equipment slots devoted to uplinks, but even switching between them deleted one of my other ones. even changing my suit didn't change anything, still deleted my other ones....
So is this a bug or did you just nerf uplink spam, i can agree with that but there are better ways to do it besides limiting uplinks that much. |

You do know that you have to equip 2 different types of uplinks to get the advantage of them?

r-9s usually but ive never had that problem before. last night i played and i could have sworn that i had four r-9s active at one time.... plus i know that something must have changed because uplink spamming was a problem. i know that when i restocked at a supply depot then even the uplinks i got from that would stay active.

You have been mistaken somehow. Those other links must've been somebody elses.
R-9 gives you max. 2 active at the same time, regardless how many of them you have equipped. That's the way it has been forever and never have I noticed anything opposing that.
When you go to the supply depot to restock you get your uplinks restocked but the old, deployed ones stay until you drop the new ones. And new ones will replace the old ones. |

Each variant has a max deployed stat.
That number is the qty of that particular variant that may be deployed at the same time.
Example:
Eqp Slot 1: R-9s -max deployed = 2
Eqpt Slot 2: Dawnpyre -max deployed =:2
Total deployable : 4
Example 2
Eqpt Slot 1: R- 9 -max deployed = 2
Eqpt Slot 2: R- 9 -max deployed = 2
Total Deployable: 2 |

Good explanations. Working as intended.
Same goes for Hives as well.
This happens even if you drop two, switch to a different suit and try again. Yep, them other suckers are gone. |
