Don't forget about everyone using the cheapest stuff available.
It's like all of the tactics, strategies, and cooperation/teamwork from regular pub matches is thrown out the window and is replaced with the FOTM, the current most OP weapons/suits, and whatever glitchs can be abused. |

I actually see a hell of a lot more organized tactics in PC than anywhere else - pub matches and faction warfare usually result in who can Zerg the most where as PC it about who is fielding the most diverse team. Forge Guns and Mass Drivers on rooftops, Snipers trying to take them out, Tanks on outside with Heavies/Assault/Logistics players all duking it out inside the outpost is usually the most common tactics.
I saw this the first few days of PC. Heck, I even helped win a few because I was able to keep the heavies and armor tankers alive to defend the area.
Every other time I go in there now it's a war outside with tanks, a bunch of OP weapons on the inside, and maybe a forge on the roof. Back when the flaylock was the go-to weapon everyone was spaming those and mass drivers all over the place. People just use whatever they find kills the quickest...and don't even get me started about the ARs.
Not only this, but having two objectives so close together in an easy to defend compound where everyone is fighting, making the frame rate drop like crazy...it's just not fun, and it makes the game like domination. Maybe once they make some more maps like the research facility...then I'll enjoy it more.
The one big difference though is the effectiveness of the heavy. It always seems like heavies dominate PC because they actaully see some action from so many players rushing in |
