B.) The event that gave scrappy rewards to the Gallante (proto scout suits? -_-) and awesome awards for Caldari/Amarr (Assault suits :D)
C.) People want easy games so they are hanging on to the coat tails of EoN and just trailing off their sucess. Amarr/Caldari FW is so easy mode because everybody has at least advanced. These noobs in Gallante are fresh off the boat. A) It's the same design flaw, was never flipped. But still, a design flaw.
B) That could explain why Caldari are winning, but what about Amarr? Amarr and Minmatar both get prototype logistics suits, so that's even. Amarr gets a prototype assault variant scrambler rifle, which I rarely see being used, and Minmatar get a prototype mass driver which I see a ton of. Then equipment, which is all important.
C) I've been in tons of matches and have people reporting tons of matches where they beat other squads on the Minmatar side without any help of EoN, so please.
D) When Amarr and Caldari were this deep in the hole last month, you didn't see any of us complaining. Instead, we tried to gather forces to fight back. |

DeadlyAztec11 wrote: C.) Amarr/Caldari are over saturated with veteran players. So you are way more likely to be matched in with other squads of proto's and advanced suits, just out of random chance. Also, people that realized that Gallante/Minmatar are not easy mode anymore have migrated over to the winning side. Therefore, there are even more vets on the winning side. I'm not blaming EoN, or Caldari/Minmatar supporters. I'm blaming CCP and their "quick" fixes, that do nothing more than add further bull ****. Believe it or not, I actually use to play only Amarrian and Caldari because I felt cheap abusing the system.
From my experiences, I've been going up against a lot of Minmatar squads in full prototype with my squad of full advanced and still end up beating them. What you are suggesting could be partially true, but there are quite a few Minmatar squads who seem to think prototype = instant win and don't really push any tactics. |

Here's the thing about the "FW glitch" that isn't lining up with a lot of these Minmatar arguments. You claim that the "FW glitch" was flipped to start helping Amarr and Caldari now. Ok, good hypothesis, do you have anything to back that up, like what exactly the glitch was?
I have stated numerous times what I believe to be the "FW glitch," or more accurately described as a design flaw. Basically, there are an equal number of attacking contracts for both sides, so once one team gains an advantage it creates a snowball effect. Consider this, right now the Minmatar hold about 5 districts while the Amarr hold hundreds. So over some timespan we both get 20 attacking contracts, but Amarr focus their attacks on these 5 districts while Minmatar are spread out throughout the hundreds of districts. If the Minmatar lose one attacking contract, they're not going to get another chance to attack that district for a long while. See the flaw here?
So that said, if this is indeed the case, and I believe it is, then nothing was "flipped" with 1.5. Rather, the Amarr and Caldari made a huge effort to push back against this snowball effect and turn the tables. That, in my opinion, deserves major credit no matter how you want to spin it. Oh and also, it is not so hard to believe that at least for the Amarr side this "miraculously" lined up with the event. Why? Because in our campaign to rally as many strong armed soldiers to the Amarr side, which has been going on for months, we used the date of the FW event as a target point. And yes, as the FW event started we were successful in our campaign and got a large spike of players in our PIE Ground Deployment channel forming a bunch of squads. |

I also think that there is a tipping point where conquest/domination is assured if enough squads are thrown at the mechanics for a intense period.
And please get off the "I want credit" bus, I've given you guys credit plenty of times in many threads, you are now just asking for your epeen to be stroked until its sore. Believe me, I'm the last one to care about an "epeen." I simply find it amusing how so many Minmatar/Gallente are making excuses for their short comings. Why not instead try to rally people to your cause? Instead of blaming CCP every time you lose. |

Also here's a pro-tip: Two or three squads of Science For Death winning all their battles is not going to be enough to turn the tables on something as large a scale as Faction Warfare. If you really want to make an impact on FW, you're going to have to rally a lot more people than your pool of players from your corp. |

We only play FW because the Aussie servers are crap now and FW can get us a decent ping fairly often. We only fight for minmatar because Vulkan Ulki is a racist and hates everyone but the minmatar. We aren't trying to make a push at all and I think I speak for our entire corp when I say that we don't really care who has the territory, You guys fight to claim land for the amarr and we fight for the sake of fighting Well, then why are there some SFD people here complaining that Amarr hold 99% of the land? If you guys only care about fighting, this shouldn't concern you!
By the way, I love playing against you guys, always a really tough fight. Quite a good corporation you guys have going!

If they ever add in faction suits and guns then ppl will play for there fav faction, some will still be mercs and play all, if vehicles are also faction i will play them all so get a set of them or just play one side if ther is a vehicle i really like until the market comes into play I never understood that part though. "I'm a merc, I fight for whoever is paying." Aren't they all paying the same right now? |
