I hope people are wrong about tanks being even more garbage in 1.7.
Id like to spec into them if theyre usable. Tanking has the potential to be a lot of fun if ccp gets it right. Im gonna just sit here and cross my fingers.
Im tired of assault 514. Caldari assault with an AR is fun for a few weeks but being forced into playing something that you dont enjoy really sucks. |

They are removing all specialized vehicles, I.e. Assault dropships, logi dropships, enforcer tanks (not that anyone really uses them) and the 2 LAV variants.
Aside from that wich will most likely make all pilots leave, I de think that they are doing a slight nerf to all vehicles.....not 100% sure though. |

I highly doubt that. I will just sit there like a true Amarr battleship would, tank your damage, and Heavy Pulse laser you into the ground. |

They're going to be garbage. I can give a lot of reasons, but here's just one.
They're changing from infinite ammunition to a limited ammunition without first fixing hit detection or draw distance.
This is endemic throughout CCP's updates. We don't need this kind of useless overhaul - we need functionality. We need it now, not Soon(TM). PS4 is right around the corner, and I don't think I'm alone when I say that I've given CCP plenty of time to get the fundamentals down. The problem is they aren't working on the fundamentals. There's hardly any real coding going on, just a bunch of copy-pasta code and re-skin/re-paint of existing stuff - it's a joke & CCP is clueless on tanks and a whole lot of other things.

I am still talking with CCP Wolfman on convincing him on at least getting the ADS back in. The Logistics needs a review and the others... well I am sure they won't be missed. |

I use tanks now and just have fun trashing them. I earn money on my alts to fuel my tank habit. I've got two tankers GÇö shield and armor.
What is really going to make vehicle users leave is if CCP drops the ball on the vehicle balance.

That's x 100000000000000000000 better than the enforcers being weaker and costing x6 as much as a STD hull. |

They are nerfing the module slots for the vehicles, probably for making adv. and PROTO HAV's, in which I think is stupid, because tiercide>adding more tiers. |

LLV's will, the SLAV's (know a couple of guys who love them) would, the Black Ops and Marauders are still missed, and if they made Enforcers actually good glass Cannons (not more damage per say, just faster and being able to hit harder from long range). |
