The charged shot is hard to turn down and if you are good with a trigger the charged first shot and rapid fire following shots will wreck a suit. It is the only proto weapon I have and coupled with the Amarr advanced assault it is a killer. It works up close and offers two distinct versions. It comes with that pew pew sound free of charge. |

How is SCR FOTM? Thats bs.. I went straight into them all the way upto prof 4 when they came out, and so did most people whom still use them today. We are just using them more because when we get up close and personal a militia AR will put anything down these days.... FOTM RIGHT HERE |

The scrambler is the better choice unless you just want to play the range game or are good with side arms. Either variant is a good weapon and does its job well. As with all the other weapons in the game the standard level is a good place to get a feel for the gun but with the LR the only thing that goes up is the price, resources needed and heat build up. The potential is there for higher damage in the Viziam but only if you are wearing an advanced or better Amarr assault. |

LR is ridiculously dangerous with mods/proficiency. Literally can kill 3 people in a clip if you get some distance between you and the enemy. Any extra damage you can get will make the difference between killing someone by aiming on them or by passing over them. |

Unless you need to put points into the PG reduction skill I would say neither, 450k sp for 3% damage is bullcrap. |

The question is: Would you rather make AR scrubs rage up close or at range?
The LR is good if you can dictate the range for engagement.
The ScR is good if you're a risk/reward type of player. |
