Four equipment slots at proto along with a heavy armor tank allows for great versatility combined with excellent survivability (and damage mods!), along with avoiding the negative view of the former FotM CalLogi suit.

I have MINMITAR logi maxed and have almost every gun adv modules have stamina maxed shield maxed armor maxed damage maxed pretty much maxed only the important modules not wasting SP on everything cuz ya

The other good reason is for the equipment bonus, easily fit any equipment you want. If you like to put out damage the drop some some damage mods on. I had a scanner fit with a long and short scanner and scanning mods, I had to carry a SMG to fit it. Try anything you think might be fun.

Gallogi is now viable after the armour buff. It really comes down to playstyle. Would you rather be more mobile and quicker to regen, or have more HP and equipment at the cost of speed and regeneration?

Yep, the GalLogi provides some great fits even at advanced level, the equipment bonus is great!
dustwaffle The Southern Legion The Umbra Combine 599	Posted - 2013.10.15 06:26:00 - [11] - Quote As a caldari logi, these are the pros and cons (from my perspective, note i do not have access to gal logi yet so this is purely conjecture/theorycrafting): Cal vs Gal Slots: Cal logi has more module slots (5 high, 4 lows). Capable of a nice buffer tank reaching up to more than 1k EHP. Shields are considered as more powerful than armor as of current meta. Gal logi is capable of more damage (damage mods + better armor tank). FIttings: Cal logi gets LESS CPU than all other races. This means to fit good (proto or adv) equipment you may have to use one of the low slots for a CPU enhancer, or forgo some of that tank (see above). Gallente has a bonus to equipment fittings, so you'll be able to fit full racks of proto/adv equipment with not too many sacrifices. Equipment: Cal logi has 3 slots, Gal has 4. Nuff said. Speed: Armor tank slows you down more than shield tank, but since Caldari logis frequently dual tank, might not be too large a difference. Everything else is about the same or equal, and of course if you go pure as a gal logi armor tank and stuff damage mods in your highs, the weapons as a gal logi do a bit more damage.

Most logis build their suit like an assault and make equipment secondary so they'll usually run out of pg/cpu before they could fill that 4th equipment slot. If you want to be an assault logi, caldari logi. If you want to be a true logi, then gallente.

The Minmatar logistics suit is the middle ground of the logistics suits, you will not gain much by going Caldari or Gallente logistics. IMO you will only be dumping 2.8M SP down the drain.

Scouts getting bonuses to disruption style EWAR Logi's bonuses to Control Style EWAR.

This is pretty much what I reckon. However, if you're dead set on logi and don't want to waste all those SP you've sunk into equipment, consider Amarr logi for a slightly different playstyle.

Decided not to skill into any of the other logi suits and instead got my nanohives, dampening, scanners, and hacking up a few levels. The only two equipment I have yet to max are scanners and REs. If you haven't gotten dampening to level 5 yet I would highly reccommend it as a logi. At level 5 you resist basic scans, and then you can also use one complex mod to resist adv scans. Being undetectable is crucial when the enemy is constantly using the scanners to track you down, especially when using your own scanner. Hacking is another good choice if you haven't maxed it out yet. Any of the equipment skills are good too. Honestly I'm waiting until I get all of these things up to level 5 before I skill into another suit.
