Not sure if you guys at CCP are aware of this, but thought I'd bring it up anyways because it's becoming a bit annoying.
Manus Peak
- Small socket at A and medium socket at B do not pull from Gallente Research set
Fractured Road
- Sockets are not rotating, the same ones are in the same place every time
- Doesn't use any old Caldari medium/small sockets
Border Gulch
- Sockets are not rotating, the same ones are in the same place every time
- Doesn't use any old Caldari medium/small sockets
Impact Ridge
- Does not pull from old Caldari socket sets
- Does not use Gallente communications outpost either
Perhaps there's something preventing these variations from showing up, like before how the medium sockets on Spine Crescent were not rotating properly? And I know you want to keep it so it's only ever all socket types from one set, but on the new maps I don't see any reason why they can't be all sockets from a Caldari set. |

Yeah it would be cool if Manus Peak could use some of the sockets from the new set. And yeah, even if the crater maps are set to only use the research set, that still doesn't explain why they don't rotate within the research set. I mean, on Border Gulch for example; B, C, and E are ALWAYS the security scan small socket and D is ALWAYS the reactor core medium socket. On Fractured Road, objective A is ALWAYS the reactor core medium socket, objective B is ALWAYS the landing pad medium socket, objective C is ALWAYS the relay station small socket, objective D is ALWAYS the satellite launch pad small socket, and then there's four small sockets housing CRUs that are also ALWAYS using the same socket. |

May I ask why LD would do this intentionally? Isn't the point of the sockets to create a wide variety of configurations? |

That must be some terrible luck then because I probably play this game way too much and I have never once seen one of the new small or medium sockets on Manus Peak and have asked all my friends who play and they haven't seen it either. |
