Not sure if this is a thread about Matchmaking or the Weekly Cap.
About matchmaking, I actually think that mixed experience levels in the same battle is NOT a bad thing. The bad thing in my honest opinion is to have 16 protostompers agains a bunch of noobs (sometimes the roster is not even filled).
THIS is absolutely wrong. My idea of matchmaking is having 2 balanced teams. This is important.
Different levels in the same match give the newer players a chance to learn from better players, both allies and enemies: Funny to say, the most traumatic deaths I experienced (which are printed in my brain) made me a better player.
About the weekly cap, I'm very convicted we should have a higher cap (let's say 240.000 instead of 190.000) until you hit... 5 millions? KDR should have nothing to do with the SP cap, that is a terrible, terrible idea... The Cap should not be removed entirely. This game actually love us people who have a job and a life and I find it great. |

I really wish there was some data available for this game but I'd guess there is a pretty good correlation of skill points to K/D. Heh... I'm sorry for saying that, but I really think it's a bad idea (KDR related Cap). I don't want to look selfish here, I'm not a selfish person, but I would be probably quitting the game if I realize that those few hours I can play when I'm back home don't give me any SP just because I have a good KDR.
KDR and SP are not necessarily related, I know people with 40.000 kills (can only guess how many SP) and a 1.5 KDR...
I think that KDR is Evil and only stupid teenagers like to compare it to see who has the biggest one ...but I can tell you mine is good (I feel stupid just to say mine is good lol) and I'm only 7 millions SP (this is my main character, I'm not a veteran). |
