Yea, I don't care to look for the link but they basically said that the EVE/DUST link is on the back burner for the foreseeable future.
It's because Uprising was a horrendous mess and they're scrambling to save the project in a reasonable amount of time, hence still hammering out basic core mechanics 5 months after launch. |

I don't tend to keep up to date with all the bullshit they say. Why is this on the BACK BURNER? They should make a few changes then immediately get to work on this, IMO. |

No it's because if they did it right now it would break the economy. Not because of the failure that is uprising or else they would've already released it to help retain player numbers.. |

I've seen the money they can bring in. I'd understand them being worried about everyone here getting oodles of cash, but not so much the other way around....
You would have to play an unreal amount of DUST to earn a PLEX >_< |

you are nothing but a bonus on an eve players screen if you partake in FW. if you own districts... well go look at a proper nwe eden map not the pre-chewed one ccp gave you and point out molden health. now imagine that you can only exist in that spot and only in the areas of that spot so violent that they all but preclude meaningful interaction. pretty meaningless eh? without meaning eve players have no reason to alter their production to accommodate making things for you and the few that do make things for you will drive prices so insanely high that it crashes your economy. thats why we aren't connected. |

Assuming they do raise the prices ridiculously high, and also assuming that we Dust players sell items to EVE players (actually making us worth something to them) then could we not just raise OUR prices in turn? IMO, allowing Dust players to manufacture EVE goods would be the best way to go about it. |

And thank you fine sir. Even if you don't give me any money, it's the thought that counts. |

Nah what will happen is the small entrepreneurial types, like myself will undercut the Million ISK Duvolles significantly, not holding you to ransom but parting you with you ISK at a reasonable above current market value.
Smart Indies will basically offer to supply one corp in goodies, if materials a bought and paid for and a reasonable value per item in offered. The market would stabilise around the new price and costs would decrease an acceptable level, or so believe, I already stock piling Tritanium and other minable assets, as well as buying up general Indy materials wherever I can, with what ISK I can scrounge. |

We need to siphon off a ton of isk from the top grosing corps out there. Right now anyone who bought some BPO's can run freebie suits and just print isk. Add ontop of that placed like TP and STB being able to print money from districts at a rate that exceeds the costs of clone packs and Dust ISK is worthless. Would cause massive inflation in the eve market. |
