I'm willing to pay tens of millions <100 million for the Collector Edition DUST514 codes. Does anyone know of any EVE players looking to establish a trade. |

It'll take too long to raise 500 million by November, I'd rather get them through $$$ If it's an option. But if you were to give me them, I can promise you I'd pay you all the ISK I earn for the next 12 month's till I pay you 1 billion ISK, no lie. |

I think we all know that no one would pay more than $30 for the militia tier BPO codes. Especially when they could simply buy boosters instead. |

$5.00 a BPO X 6 BPOs = $30.00. That sounds reasonable. |

So you can keep the Amarr Logi BPO then in that case. |

See my earlier post which estimates the cost is about 750 million (unless plex prices have changed recently - haven't checked in a couple of months)
Well the DUST514 BPOs won't be worth that much to an EVE player if they don't intend to use them. And paying them $30.00 or the DUST514 equivalent of 750 million ISK is far above what some people are asking for. So I think my offer is quite reasonable. Besides like I said, I'll wait till they hit eBay and see what people want for them. Only then will I make an offer on the set. And they would have to be EU/UK codes anyway as um playing from within the UK.

I'm not concerned about the pack in code. I have the ishukone watch and blood raider saga LAV BPOs and besides, I heard the Guristas LAV doesn't come with a turret anyway. But I am envious of the Black and Gold painting. |

The Ishukone Watch Saga and the Blood Raider Saga both have a militia M1 missile turret BPO, but their pretty decent against other LAV and Infantry.. |

If my account got banned, I'd contact my VISA company and demand all transactions to SONY that paid for DUST514 be reimbursed, all -ú169.00 of it. That way I don't lose anything and I can delete this game fr my ps3 forever and never look back. |

That way I don't lose anything and I can delete this game fr my ps3 forever and never look back. You don't understand how credit card companies work. They don't give you the money back - they get refunds from Sony, and in this case I don't think Sony would comply. If you reported fraud, they would investigate and find that the transactions were performed using the same PSN used for other transactions and your claim would be denied. Good luck though. I'm also sure any transactions you have made you have made under some sort of clauses under the agreements you accepted when you agreed to play the game. If you broke any of the rules and got your account banned that is your problem not CCP's because you either failed to read, or complied with their rules.
I don't think you quite understand how consumer rights in the UK work. I don't know how things are in ICELAND and the US, but over here the Office of Fair Trading has 'our' backs. |

You paid money for a F2P game. You transgressed the established rules of that developer. You consumed your Aurum. That's like going to Mc Donald's asking for a cheese burger, eating it, and handing back the box demanding a refund for it.
1. Yes I spent money on a F2P, it's an option
2. I haven't 'transgressed' any rules dumbass I've just started a thread. CCP can't punish me for something I haven't even done (Minority Report anyone).
3. I've bought packs that contained BPOs aswell as Aurumn, then spent that Aurumn on more BPOs. |

That's like going to Mc Donalds and buying a Big Mac meal, eating my burger, and then selling fries to a freind whose also hungry, but then having Mc Donalds take my food away saying you cant sell something you paid for, own and want to sell because we sold it to you, expecting that you would consume it, not your freind. |

^^This. See, I'm not buying like a 100 in-game Duvolle ARs for $4, I'm buying a real world, tangible object, a voucher with codes on it, which can later be redeemed for in-game content. Hell, I could buy a voucher and frame that **** for a keep sake and never redeem it if I wanted to, because it would be something tangible that I fecking own. |

I disagree with your first statement however as I do not believe I have undervalued the BPOs. Firstly you cannot get DREN BPOs for very little, you must purchase an Elite Pack that costs you $100.00 Secondly the Elite Pack comes with 8 DREN BPOs, not 6, like the Templar Pack. Thirdly the Elite Pack has 200,000 Aurumn which in a pack alone cost near enough $100.00, the Templar Pack comes with 0 Aurumn. Now a standard BPO dropsuit such as my Raven dropsuit is worth 19,800 aurmn, which would mean the 3 standard templar BPOs would be worth 59400 aurmn, the 3 standard templar weapons would be worth 40200 aurmn (based on the 13,400 price tag of the Syndicate Sub) and the Drop Uplink would be worth 9800. Now all together that adds up to 109,000 aurumn, which would seem like a lot but bear in mind that this is only half the aurmn you get with the Elite Pack which is 200,000, so that would value them at around $50 when 200,000 aurmn packs are $100. Add into the equation the equation the value of all 8 DREN BPOS that you get in the Elite Pack that are worth 142,800 aurumn, more than the value of the Templar BPOs combined, then you can half the value of the Templar BPOS again from $50 to $25. Now take into consideration the value of the 2 Active and 2 Passive boosters that you get with the Elite Pack, compared to the lack of boosters that you get with the Templar Pack and.... Well you can see where I'm going with this (94,000 aurumn again) , you could quite cpmfortably halve the value of the Templar BPOs again to $17.50 to compensate for the missing value. Now take into consideration all the hundreds of consumables that you also get, and you can comfortably take $4-$5 off. And that leaves you with 7 BPOS worth on average between $12-$14. So I think you'll find that my offer was quite realistic, quite reasonable, reasonably supported by mathematics (it wasn't my favourite subject at school), and is quite achievable on the market to date, so long as people do the math, and don't just pick out a price because of the 'exclusivity'. Trust me, 'exclusivity' is not worth $15 more than a BPOs actual value.

Byozuma Kegawa wrote:Exclusivity actually does carry more value than you're alluding to. Be it next month or next year, it's highly likely people will still be able to buy the Dren pack, maybe even at a discount. The items in the Collectible Set will not. Later this month will be the only time CCP will release them, making them alot harder to get down the road assuming noone uses the codes to begin with. Thusly their value can't really be compared to any of the PSN packs.
Your valuing a timed exclusive over that of their intrinsic value, simply because they are harder to come by doesn't mean they offer any benefits over the DREN equivalent, as the Templar A1 Heavy will be identical to my DREN A1 Heavy in every way, over than I'm colour - black&red/tan&brown |

The only value I hold for thelse Templar BPOs is that they we're not available on the market previously, so I will get them this time for the laser rifle, scrambler rifle and amarr logo and assault dropsuit BPO. I'm not fussed about the drop uplonk or scrambler pistol BPO, however I will admit the Templa. Harvey looks aesthetically more appealing than my DREN. |

Well I think they will struggle to make a profit on it, as they would have to sell the Templar Pack at $151+ |
