Nirwanda Vaughns wrote:I would expect the suit bpos are equivalent to the dren suits and they will receive the skill bonus if you have the suits skill so if you have proto amarr logi then the templar logi will get the 5hps armor regen and the rep bonus so you're kinda looking at around $10 per suit bpo.still i'd probs just wait and check ebay. i know some guys who bought it for dust and are selling the collectors edition and eve codes (they just wanted the dust codes) I'm Looking forwards to using that Logi Suit. |

You better read the rules buddy. Buying dust items for real cash outside of PSN will get you BANNED. Just mentioning the word E**Y will get you banned. LOL Been there done that. If my account got banned, I'd contact my VISA company and demand all transactions to SONY that paid for DUST514 be reimbursed, all -ú169.00 of it. That way I don't lose anything and I can delete this game fr my ps3 forever and never look back. You don't understand how credit card companies work. They don't give you the money back - they get refunds from Sony, and in this case I don't think Sony would comply. If you reported fraud, they would investigate and find that the transactions were performed using the same PSN used for other transactions and your claim would be denied. Good luck though. I'm also sure any transactions you have made you have made under some sort of clauses under the agreements you accepted when you agreed to play the game. If you broke any of the rules and got your account banned that is your problem not CCP's because you either failed to read, or complied with their rules. |

I don't think you quite understand how consumer rights in the UK work. I don't know how things are in ICELAND and the US, but over here the Office of Fair Trading has 'our' backs.
You paid money for a F2P game.
You transgressed the established rules of that developer.
You consumed your Aurum.
That's like going to Mc Donald's asking for a cheese burger, eating it, and handing back the box demanding a refund for it. |

Which for me was more like $20 since I had 500Mill lying around.
You are also comparing a pack designed to aid beginners with a pack that promises nothing and is specifically a collectible I suppose, given the nature of the actual product the EVE pilot is buying. |

That way I don't lose anything and I can delete this game fr my ps3 forever and never look back. Does that mean I can ask for psn gift cards? Where buying items for dust and eve is against the EULA is concerned its buying the actual item in eve or dust and not buying a card with a code on it. for example. in eve i have a machariel pirate battleship. if i put that on ebay for -ú20 to transfer that digital item to someone else then its against the EULA. if i bought a special edition of eve which gave me a code to redeem for a free machariel battleship i could sell that on ebay. same as in dust. when player trading comes into play, if i put on ebay 10 x black eagle scout suits for -ú5 i could get banned for it whereas the sale of the cards you get in the new ps3 super slims or dust branded headsets/keyboard isn't against eula. its a complicated area Thanks for clearing that up for me. |

Nirwanda Vaughns wrote:ADAM-OF-EVE wrote:[ you massively undervalued the bpo's imo. you can't compare these to dren's etc as anyone can get those for very little where as its likely these bpos will be one offs only available via the full collectors edition
They are currently as easily available as the dren suits though, they just offer different racial suits to the assault and logi. and also with the recent retirement of the merc pack then there is no gurantee that the elite or veteran packs will be around forever. the rarity of the suits for both is solely based on how many people buy either products and who sell them when the markets finally open up in game They are limited by the number of EVE collectors editions that are ordered I believe. |

Be it next month or next year, it's highly likely people will still be able to buy the Dren pack, maybe even at a discount. The items in the Collectible Set will not. Later this month will be the only time CCP will release them, making them alot harder to get down the road assuming noone uses the codes to begin with. Thusly their value can't really be compared to any of the PSN packs. Your valuing a timed exclusive over that of their intrinsic value, simply because they are harder to come by doesn't mean they offer any benefits over the DREN equivalent, as the Templar A1 Heavy will be identical to my DREN A1 Heavy in every way, over than I'm colour - black&red/tan&brown That's not how other people will look at it though. They are the sellers, they have a market, they do not care for the items intrinsic value, they wish to A get rid of it, B make a profit on it. |
