Dust

I have decided to make a series on the dirty underbelly of dust and expose the roaches for all to see.

Today we kick off the series with boosting.

How its done, the tips and tricks and ill leave the opinions to others.

I do no endorse these methods by would like them to be known to the community, and have you be aware that high level corps are engaged in them on both the small and large scale, or are taking steps to set up doing this on a mass scale.

Part 1 - Boosting

#1 Injectors Teams
Boosting in Dust is done in several ways, number 1 is the use of a nano injector and another team member on one side and a ally on the enemy side of the battlefield, you melee the guy to be killed, you nano inject him back alive and continue Ad infinitum. This builds substantial WP quickly and is very effective at boosting. This can be combined into a 4 man team of 2 players on each side for even greater effect. This gives you a very high WP per min as you can guess.

#2 installation hacking
This method involves a player on each side of the match, you both max out your hack skill and hack fitting, you hack the back and forth while calling in free lav bpo's. You keep destroying the lav's and the bolas while hacking back and forth and build WP overtime very fast. This gives you a very high WP per min as you can guess.

There are other methods for these strategy but these are the most used.

------District locking for boosting-------

Corporations will lock districts so they cannot be attacked, however they are also doing this so they can boost in them using the above methods in secret away from prying eyes.

When you lock a district and you enter that match and NO one takes installation points the match will go on and on for quite a long time, long enough that a dedicated team can pull out enough SP through boosting to get all their WP=SP for the week in a match or 2. As they will got for over a hour each.

Corporations are currently engaged in this practice behind closed doors in these locked out district matches. A few months ago they moved away from doing it in public matches as they where becoming exposed.
