If dust was on PC right now it would have 15,000 players online at a time all day just for being a free game, but no the PS3 will do better...
Meanwhile World of tanks, War thunder, PS2, marvel universe, WoW, FF14, and more F2P PC games are coming out at launch on PS4. Meaning Dust will be a console exclusive, and lose to free to play PC games, on consoles.
Dust is going to be the only F2P "MMO" on consoles only, while the rest just port to PS4 from a PC platform. What is wrong with this picture!? |

works that way on the ps3, if the ps4 does it, then people can play it on the ps4 right? The ability to download is not the issue; compatibility of the client with the new device is the concern.
They had to build a custom udk engine for dust to run on ps3, but udk runs natively on ps4, why do you think so many free to play games are being ported to it ? If they made dust run on pc and ps4 port wouldn't even be an issue it would just load the pc version and you'll be on the same servers as the pc players. How could ccp allow dust to fall behind have they no hindsight ?!? |

LOLno reason why WoTs, WT etc hav more ppl is because those are actual good games whereas dust isnt dust is free but ppls time isnt free on pc =/= mean large playerbase
Find me a pc f2p mmo/game with less than 15,000 players online at once. They don't exist. So you're saying dust is the wrost game ever made ? Sorry but dust is the 1st ever f2p game on consoles its obvious the ps3 will never have a f2p market on it , the ps4 on the other hand ... |
