Ive started a corp on one of my alts to pick up only new people straight from academy and any stragglers i find in pubs without corps
my goal is to teach them the game so that they dont just get frustrated and ragequit from the first battle out of academy against nyain san <.<
once they become PC ready (will take 5+ months) ill start sending them to corps that are active in PC
on another note why does match making not just put people with similar SP into matches together?
is it seriously because there isnt enough players? |

ive managed to pick up maybe 10% of people ive invited, about 50-60% of people i sent invites to dont know how to either read mail, or send it, and of all the people that did respond probably half of them we're not able to figure out how to apply to a corp
CCP should add stuff to do with corps into the tutorial or allow corps to send out a direct invite like in WoW |

No, we have enough. What we don't have, however, are a feasible number of people with similar SP. It's currently vets versus will-be vets and fresh bloods. The gaps between them is easily 15+ mill from vet to soon vet, +5 from soon vet to new blood.
This will cause massive tears from those lacking any confidence in their ability, but meta restrictions is the only answer.
I used to think it was tier, but someone mentioned a better idea, which is meta based restrictions. Only suits with < 11 meta may go here, < 21 may go here, ect, ect.
