500k SP is not nearly enough to create a viable character in this game. If you cannot fully spec into a basic racial suit and level 3 core of your chosen tanking type you cannot compete in this current scotty matchmaking sham. I would complain about the NPC guys as much as the next guy, so I decided to give a new char a tryout. All the talk of revamping the new player experience is worthless if they cannot get into a usable fit at second one of playtime. I beg you, for your own good to up starting SP to 1M. Newbro turnover will continue to be an issue until you fix this.

I also like the shorter academy, academy griefing does become an issue when the WP total is too high. With that said, people should still enter the shark tank with the ability to field a solid basic suit. Any feedback from other people is welcome, I know people get tired of worthless team mates, but these guys are hard pressed to contribute anything without the gear to do it.

Why should someone suffer in a game that supposed to be fun? I am not suggesting they be coddled through an extended academy, that doesn't work. The new system is much better, but it still has some of the same problems. The main one being you cant build **** on 500K.
