What I offer on the battlefield:
In a tank:
I offer you the guarantee that in a 1v1 duel with another tanker of even the highest level, as long as their is no enemy AV involvement, I will either destroy them or neutralize them. Tankers of any less than the highest caliber will be destroyed at every engagement. Killing other tanks is my bread and butter, and what I expect people to be paying for if they want my services. I am not the infantry stomper that Covert and Psychotic are, nor am I the crackshot that Void or the late Slap and Hotch were, but my superior tactics have allowed me to come out on top of 90% of tank battles I have fought, and the other 9% with the greats ended in draws, maybe 1% out of a hundred fights I find myself at a loss- once to General Grodd, admittedly.
On boots:
I run my callogi one of two ways: (1) slayer and (2) basemaker
(1) I stack the damage mods on my freedom, throw on some hives and a scanner, then tank the rest. Armor tanked suits don't stand a chance when I have some distance and shield tanked suits will think twice.
(2) I drop my wiki and ishukone hives for a heavy, then get to work scanning with an ADV quantum and spamming boundless at everything red; nobody can take a point that is constantly exploding.
What I offer off the battlefield:
- Honesty- I don't spy; couldn't care enough about who owns what in Molden Heath to do so.
- Loyalty- When I say I will diligently fight in every battle I can for you from Day x to Day y, I will do so. I do not lie, cheat, or steal.
- Kindness- I usually play with my own group of friends in pubs, but I'm nice when I do play with the corp who hired me.
- Laughter- I don't take myself too seriously as long as I'm getting paid. Losing and winning don't particularly irk me. I believe in a drama-free environment and expect the same from anyone else. If your corp is having issues on personal matters, don't get me involved.
- Generosity- While I'm around, I have no problem helping newer corp members out with anything I can, as far as knowledge goes.
- Magic- I do know how to run a squad and think for myself. I can get things done if they need to be, though I prefer to just have fun.
What I expect to be paid
Compensation for tank losses in PC. My tanks range from 1.4m to 2.0m, depending on how hard I'm going. Any tanks I lose for a corp that I am hired by in PC, or any corp in their alliance must be reimbursed at the earliest convenience.
Currently, I'm asking 60m ISK for one month. That is the only fee, other than tank losses that I expect to be compensated for.
I do not accept multiple payments for multiple months of service. I will take my payment upon my application to the corp, fulfill my 30 day contract, and move on if I choose. Anything I learn in your corp will stay in your corp.
What makes me the best mercenary for the money:
You know what you are getting and for how long. I do not want any special favors- only my flat fee and reimbursement for PC tanks. Other top tier mercenaries may want to try and change your corporation- not me, as I honestly couldn't give two f**ks how you do things as long as I get paid.
Right now, I'm under contract with SVER True Blood until Oct 18, but because I am traveling out of state, I will not return to Dust until Nov 02. Because of this, my STB contract is 'extended' until Nov 02, at which point I will accept offers for employment. I will ultimately choose which contract I pick based on the people in that corp, the pay, and the reputation of that corp.

This just goes to show how disconnected from the real tank community you are. You're a lot like Mary Sedillo- you think you're God's gift to tanks, but the second you go head to head with one of the guys who know what they're doing, you need to bring a swarm launcher in your tank to get the job done (did it to me). Legend, you're not bad, but you're not one of the best. You will never come close to guys like Lurch, Bob, Void, Grodd, and Covert, let alone Psychotic, Hotch, or Slap (etc). When you're good, the real tankers will acknowledge you as such, as is our way. Being a 'good tanker' is not defined by "high KDR" or "wins lots of duels", as some, including myself, would make it seem. It is about adaptability and overcoming the odds. Nobody knew who you were until you joined Team Players and now you talk s**t like you rate something. You seriously need to get a life. I know I'm better than you and anyone who has ever taken me in a 1 v 1 will agree with me. You don't do 1 v 1. You stack a squad of protos when you run pubs so no tanks can ever take you and no av can ever take you. Then in PC you roll with at least 1 other tank (I've seen you do 2 other tanks) so you can save your own rep and avoid getting killed. When you lose that fear, and realize that one is good because they understand their craft, rather than by gear or force of numbers, then you can join the ranks of the elite tankers. Until then, you're nothing but a tryhard, and it's an old reference, but you would never have been let into PFBHz. I got in by running Sicas and taking out Sagaris' and Suryas.
Did you also realize that you are the only tanker I know who consistently runs multi-million dollar tanks and thinks he is beast? Nobody cares if you have money. Back in Chrome, Slap almost never used proto tanks in pubs, and back in the Chromosome Cup, I took Team Players in a Gunlogi with a particle cannon+damage mods, but everything else was militia. That tank was barely 600k, but it stomped out 2 of your tanks and made cubs chase me down for half the game. Then when I see covert play he uses a scattered blaster and still gets more kills than you do (same with Psychotic). And honestly, don't even begin to say you can shoot with a rail. You're nowhere near slap, hotch, void, bob, and myself. My rail fit for pubs: gunlogi with an 80gj railgun and basic mods.
All in all, your claim to fame is your corporation. Without them, you would be nothing. |

Zitro wasn't that great, especially compared to Psychotic. He would bring Suyras into pubs in the beginning of the closed beta to bump his KDR. He didn't do that much near the end when everyone had proto tanks and AV.
I don't need pics to prove I'm good. The only people who deny it are those who consider killing me once their crowning achievement (looking at you, Mary).
If you don't like my rail sniping now, wait till 1.6 when I have the best sniper gunlogi in the game and nobody can move around when I'm there. Kinda like in Chrome ;)
Legend, you're not bad, but you're no better than Mary Sedillo. You're the guy who cares more about his KDR and rep than anything else and you'll stab anyone in the back to stay at what you would consider 'top'. I, on the other hand, only care about two things: not losing to wannabe tankers like you and making money.
As far as 'stickers of approval', when you find someone who can take me 1 v 1 and dominate me, then I'll decide that it matters. |

Sometimes, I feel like we all take this game way too seriously...
