Essentially how I believe the pistols should function
Scrambler- Pretty good spot right now, its unique feature is a 400% headshot dmg increase, making it an amazing skill shot weapon, though I'd say it its optimal range needs to be extended a little bit more
Needs a realistic purchasable tactical version with more range
Burst variant could use some work too, perhaps an ever stacking head shot multiplier if more shots connect in a row?
Flaylock- While I have never used a flaylock and they were a nightmare to survive as a scout when they were OP, they are currently UP and never seen. You can determine what radius or damage is balanced, but these are the variants I think should exist.
Impact Sensitive- what we understand the FL to be, faster firing, largest radius, the highest dps, lowest cost
Seeker/Remote- Shots follows and spirals towards target, must manually press trigger again to detonate, able to turn turn corners, high cpu/pg cost and slower firing and travel, impact does nothing only manual detention does damage.
Ion- This is a shotgun that takes time to charge, say a 6 second charge time for maximum damage with the skill lowering charge time. A fully charge shot proto should be able to do 550 dmg (easily outdone by any shotgun dps wise, a militia shotgun with no damage mods does around 475 when all pellets connect and they would have a faster firing rate, also the pistol would have about shotgun range)
Bolt- Described as Deagle like, high damage, longest range, very slow rate of fire
Which makes it the most boring pistol of all compared to the other pistols, what I would suggest is that they add a damage over time effect to the shot and reduce damage to compensate for that. As an explanation, since the caldari are the pioneers of nanite technology, they should be able to create a kinetic slug which has properties to reverse and cause enemy nanites to turn hostile and cause damage over time. The DoT only takes effect if the shot damaged armor and not shields.

I like the ideas. Not sure about the ion though. As long as it can be fired without being charged im cool with it. |

Pretty sure Gallente does nanite tech, and the bolt pistol could have a scope, and a precision mode in which it has an even lower ROF, but has a higher damage output. Also, the Assault FL's (it doesn't need a rediculous name for something we already have set in place in relation to the assault MD's) should get lower damage as a trade off instead of being overall better. Makes the regular ones pointless. Otherwise, decent ideas. |

It would have a quick fire option as well, perhaps the fastest rate of fire of all weapons, but relatively weak damage with those shots |

I was sure nanohives were caldari, especially considering that Caldari fw award are nanohives |

As far as healing and attacking nanites, that's Gallente tech. Caldari stole that tech, and made nanohives out of them, and perfected the nanite injector (half of which is technically Gallente tech from the nanites inside. the Caldari part is the delivery system). Caldari doesn't have any tech for attacking nanites (Gallente does however ), so they wouldn't have something like this. Plus, it wouldn't be good at range, in which the Caldari like to be at. |

I don't doubt you but if you got a link to that that would be awesome (or if you could recall where you got that from)
Going with your precision mode (which I like actually), for balance sake, how would that be activated, crouching or scoping? |
