Just curious as to how many heavies made the switch since the AA was added to the game again. I made the switch literally days after, as I saw heavies becoming less and less effective while relying on more and more support.
No word yet from CCP as to them looking at heavies i see. Wonder what will make them take a look at the class? I'm almost positive the number of heavy / HMG users dropped drastically while the number of AR users went up. |

I can say that heavies that still use the HMG are now the hipsters of DUST 
Using it now cuz it's the cool thing to use. It's the most under used thing, and they want to show everyone else they can still get a kill or 2 with it. |

Yea honestly the Burst HMG is the only one that has that extra punch to be effective. I didn't get chance to use it after AA was introduced, but I assume it's a good gun still. |

mmm i don't know. For a time we had more people using Plasma cannons than heavy HMG in my corp. Not saying that means much, but it shows me that people had more fun switching to the PlaC than people wanting to switch to HMG. |
