Last month it was rare to see a match with no enemies but then we had close to 5000 peak numbers.
This month with peak numbers not even breaking 4000? I am starting to see a lot of matches with no enemies AKA hack a thons and ISK farm matches.
I notice a few folks mentioning BF4 or AC black flag or COD Ghosts or Batman or well you get the picture.
Then in December GT6, etc theres another bunch of games also so.........
Well my point is that Dust 514 may be getting lower player counts since folks are off to play the new hotness games.
The problem for Dust 514 is if player counts drop by 500 or more to under 2000 peak numbers then will most games be empty matches??
I.e. will lower Dust player counts lead to empty matches and thus even more players saying theres nothing to shoot and thus leading to even lower Dust player numbers??
Pardon me while I salivate at the prospect of a PS4. |

True in that it is fun to test out vehicles or weapons like Balacs, Krins, Thales, Calas, Gastuns, etc.
But yesterday it was five empty matches in a row. Server: Automatic
Makes me wonder what its like if I set the server region to just Asia or Oceania?? |

True. But I was testing basic Skirmish, Domination and Ambush.
The last match that was empty was an ambush match and that had me go WTF? and oh, oh! CCP better get to work on getting more folks to play. |

One poor guy.
Needless to say, the match got boring rather quickly. So Aero and True Adamance suggested that we throw a rave by the supply depot.
What followed was a short, but glorious Amarrian rave. The skies were filled with laser beams, flux grenades, scrambler rifle rounds, and a drop ship or two doing back flips.
We need sixteen lasers doing that.

I hear ya and I do leave those flying caskets alone. But I do miss killing dropships on the old Manus Peak. How?? Die Hard Four way.
Kill helicopter with police automobile. Translated to Dust.
Get LAV wait close to ramp for derpship to flyby. Vrooom! in the LAV and if the God of Golf is watching then its boooom! down goes the dropship and hatemail and WTF!!! mails follow and sometimes mails with hacker and glitcher in them...lol!! |

Think of it as a Stazi versus Seals team in that both send the same numbers but it came down to who had better pre-mission prep. and team work.
Back when it was real thing to do nuclear war prep scenarios. |
