I, personally carry reps, hives, and an advanced injector (so you actually have a chance if I missed any enemies before picking you up  ). Assault Logis are welcome to post too, nothing wrong with supporting your team in a more Assault-like manner. |

I've got an old school healer setup with an MD (pun intended).
But that minny logi is the god of skirmish black ops. Explosives, scanners & uplinks all the way for me. |

They should give Logi Ships a repper (at least a mod? PLEASE?) for infantry. Heh, sorry if this was what you were implying, I just figured you meant as a standard mod, like the mobile CRU. |

Bubble AOE support modules. With the bubble moved downwards off-centre for a DS. I'm no programmer, so I'm always reluctant to speculate on what devs should do, but this seems like a simple & amicable enough concept to me. |

Of course I use my Minmatar logi for support. I run around the map like a madman, hacking everything in sight, laying equipment like uplinks and repair hives in strategic areas and defend points with my MD and REs.
Support is more than just chasing people with a repper. (Which I still do when necessary) |

Lol I sit around the corner and keep constant reps on one good person, keep them alive and supply them with ammo. Occasionally I will chase someone down, but I try to support the ones that stay in cover. |

My logi equipment selection as of right now is
ADV quantum scanner
allotek repping hive
n11 flux uplink
I must say this is sort of a selfish logi fit as all the items can technically be used for squad support OR self support. It is my personal decision to not carry a rep tool or needle as I feel these items cause more trouble than they are worth. |

I personally either run full advanced equipment for my team and get tons of WP when I need money, but when I want a better K/D ratio, I go Duvolle Advanced Amarr with 600 health and AMARR tank 3 complex damage mods. |

shall you claim that my explosives arnt supportive? it does help too give the enemy a fear of a particular piece of the map?
does my holding an objective against the reds with my many many explosive gifts untill my team respawns again count as support?
what counts as "support" isnt so cut and dry as people would like to believe.
hell most scouts end up playing "support" with their scanners, uplinks, intel, shotguns, knives
most "slayers" are supporting the "support" classes giving them cover fire and putting pressure on the reds to give you a chance to setup to return the favor
"support" is an action, undertakable by all classes in the game, weather you want to provide it or not, inevitably you will be supporting someone without even knowing it. |

logi tier one suit with R9 uplinks, standard uplinks, and a rep tool. I fly a derpship to tactical positions and get first three links up. Then proceed to next logi suit after death.
Logi advanced suit with R9s for refreshment when wave one are gone, standard nano hives (usually for me as I am up in the action with my AR), and a scanner to keep the action in our favor.
As a logi I am slower and have less hp, but I put walls of lead down range. |

Depends on the opponent and who I am squaded with really. If the squad has three medics I am not going to run medic. Most my fits do have 2 complex damage mods on them though, if that makes me an assault logi so be it. |

I use logistic suit for logistic mainly...
I prefer the amarr logi suit and mostly use the adv. one to have 3 equip slots. at the beginning of the match I use a fit with 3 different uplinks, I call an LAV and setup spawn points at good spots. afterwards I get back to a depot (or when required rush to an obj. with my team), where I switch to my nano/repair/injector fit with a PLC and SMG. If someone gets close to my teammates, I welcome him with a PLC ball to the face, if someone gets hurt I revive/repair him and and at chokes I place nanohives thus my team can continue fighting... I refresh my spawn uplinks when required.
I usually dont get many kills but my WP still bring me up to the top... |

I just get up in a good position with a couple heavies, lasers, and an ad then just kill everything. Nobody can ever die or run out of ammo. It's pretty OP as far as defensive squads go. I have yet to lose a position like that to anything short of an orbital or a sniper that forces us off with a triple damage modded thale. |

Support= anything designed with the purpose of making the medium frame close combat assault guy (some kind of rise or MD, he really) more easily close the distance to a point that he wants to hack. The assaults are the beef of a force for a reason. Tanks don't win battles. Neither do snipers or logos or even heavies. |

I have a full fitting limit of various different equipment combo's at ADV and proto, also have 1 scout fit and a AV fit so only 28 logi fits lol. At the moment I am favouring Scanner, RE's and Hives. |

I really believe for squad support these days, you have to field at least one scanner. It bumped my needle from most fits except the ones dedicated to Ambush medic work. When I finally go proto Gal and get the 4th eq, I expect to run needle/repper/hive/scanner 99% of the time. |

Just made a basi Logi suit 2 weeks ago. I have two different fits.
Scanner, Uplinks and Nanohives
Rep Tool, Uplinks and ??? (don't really use this one)
I usually drop uplinks nearby objectives but not directly next to it. Maybe right outside the city or a small area that someone might run right pass. If I see some people having a gun fight, I throw a Nanohive in back of them an then I scan for any enemies that might be around the area. I usually pick off any enemies that try to attack the group or help the fight.
It does take a while to get around though haha. My armor is like 412 or something on my Minmatar Logi. Slow but able to take a beating and get out quick.
My Adv. Assault is like 300+ armor and 200+ shields. Three shield extenders, 1 enhanced armor plate and 1 basic/enhanced reactive/ferroscale armor...I can't remember. I usually try to dual tank on Assault and armor on Logi.
2 guns that I switch between are GK-13 Burst and GLU-5 Tatical |

When I play logi its uplinks and nanohives. I do however feel they need to redo the logi so its not in such competition with the assault class. As of the moment a logi is better at assault than assault is. I see more proto stompers running proto logi than I do proto assault, this should not be. |

Let's see, my fossil suit with uplinks for the start of the match, my other uplink suit, my ammo suit, my traditional logi suit with triage hives and repper, my medic suit with hives/repper/needle, my scanner suit, my counter-sniping suit, my AV suit... "You have exceeded the number of available fitting slots" $#%*@?! Just curious... what does a counter-sniping fit look like?
I have 2, actually. To counter-snipe tower forge-campers I have an Amarr logi A/1 with a charge sniper (still saving my Thales for an undisclosed rainy day), M209 SMG, compact nanohive, and 3 complex damage mods, my regular counter-sniping fit is an A-1, it has a kalaakiota tac sniper, 1 damage mod and toxin SMG plus a profile dampener. I don't remember the combination of armor mods off the top of my head. I honestly don't use them all that often anymore but very useful when they are needed! |

I use my MD for crowd control, and always carry adv injectors and adv rep tools (unless i get WP hungry)
I try to be a hybrid logi that can do assault and triage simultaneously if needed..
It's native armor repair bonus however, makes them just to versatile to be considered triage only. |

My Minmatar logi uses a basic SMG... to save space... for equipment... to support my team. And I still will fill a red with lead until they are dead.
As a side note: My militia fit Sever logi is more effective at killing than my MH-82 wielding, HMG Proficiency 3 Heavy. |

34 shield.
So some games when I'm not sucking I get points and support the team.
Can make 2000wp and get 2-2.5KD so a big middle finger to people who only use logis to shield/armour tank. |

My amarr logi has 682 armour at the vmo and 362 shield, give me a practical reason why I'd remove HP? Wtf you smoking mate lol |

I made a secondary suit just to run Uplinks with this character (my main), which is an assaulter, because I like to play solo as well and the avereage Blueberry's IQ is too low to consider using them. Then I desperately look for a Supply depot to switch back to assault, lol.
So I spent 750.000 SP for Uplinks and ADV logi suit just to do this kind of support. I have the Assault Caldari to Lv5, so I just needed to buy the logi skill book and upgrade to Lv3.
But whenever I use a primarily Logi specced character, I just find that the most intelligent thing to do is to have both a "true" and a "fake" logi suit, since I'm pretty much limited to the logistic, where all my SP are.
So yes, I do support. But I run assault-logi as well. I really think that's a nice thing to do. But I always keep the 2 things completely separated |

I guess the most logical reasons I've used less HP would be either for a damage mod or speed. Pre-1.4 I might have said for better equipment but considering how deadly even militia ARs are now, I can't fully justify that choice anymore unfortunately! Instead you gotta go with a bunch of less flexible situational suits with more tank and have the supply depot as your best friend. |
