*leans against his seat, folds his arms, tilts his head back and closes his eyes again, this time wondering if he will ever find anything like that... but right now he has something to do... he stands up and moves to the door somewhat distracted by the smell of the food from the kitchen*

Prolong the end as long as you can...Galm squeezes his mug hard, threatening to shatter it in his hand for a moment before loosening his grip. He thought back on the last fight he and Niina had with each other. She was a baseliner.
She would grow old.

Galm's entire face twitches. The thought of thousands of machines digging into Niina's head. Carving, cutting, uploading... Making her like him... He tries to say something but his breath hitches. It wasn't the first time he had thought about it...

He dwells on the memory, remembering what she had said. But... It doesn't have to be that way. "Why would you help me? What interest is it to you?"
