Maximia slowly walks by the window of the newly opened restaurant, she bends over a little to get a better look inside the restaurant, since she is 6'11". Dressed in a slight green long sleeve shirt and military like pants with a tactical harness, supporting a pouch like bag on her side, she walks over to the door and looks at Aria, smiling at the workers of the restaurant. She then bobs her head side to side, trying to see who runs the restaurant.

"Thank you!" She says, smiling and walking in, ducking a little to not hit her head against the opening. She then walks over to one of the vacant seats and sits there, a little away but an eye shot from Galm, not wanting to dine alone and without a chat. She then flips through the menu and blinks a little.
"Uhn....." she then looks around, slightly intimidated by the list if cuisine available for her to order. Dining out was fairly new for her.

She closes her eyes and loops her finger in an 8 symbol, then after 5 seconds, she lands it onto the menu....landing in the blank margin. She then sighs and looks for Aria, signing her, politely, to come over.

"What would you recommend?" She says.

Galm flashes a pleasant smile despite despite his exhaustion.

"Saisa, arvumaa," he beams in his native tongue.

His eyes swap to a cool blue as he struggles to recall all the Matari he had downloaded from language skillbooks. His words, while correct, sport an obvious accent that seems to only stick to someone who has spent a considerable amount of time in Pure Blind. He eyes over the menu, biting his lower lip.

"I will take... Hmm, let's see here... Ah!"

His eyes glow golden in a moment of inspiration.

"I would like some of your corn bread please, with a large glass of milk! I would also like two of your waffles, but... um..."

He seems slightly embarrassed to ask.

"Could you put a bacon, egg, and toast platter in between the two waffles? With rye toast and the eggs over easy? Kind of like a breakfast sandwich, but you know, mercenary sized."

He smiles, thinking of the weekend breakfasts he used to share with his old mentor.

"I would be willing to pay the price of both meals, and a bit extra for the trouble."

((Why don't we be able to ask the waiters for food? We won't kill them or anything, we'll just be able to ask them, and rp them to come over and give us something to dine, sounds good?Tsokay though, I get it, thanks for letting us know you'll be gone))

"By all means," Galm returns, lifting his head off the table.

He smiles warmly, bouncing back from his mental slip with suprising ease. He'd had experience calling himself back from the threshold of madness.

The frentix helped quite a bit too.

"Well Aria, I got to say, it was fairly uneventful and boring until I happened upon your fine eatery."

Galm smiles once again. Each time he does it seems more forced and mechanistic. His augmented vision glows a cheerful light blue in spite of his exhausted expression. He seems absolutely giddy when a waiter finally arrives with his coffee, displaying a youthful pep that branches far away from normal expression and into the "uncanny valley."

There are things behind his face. Horrible, vile things that only froth to the surface every now and again. Was the real Galm the boyish smile, or the creature who hid behind it?

"Truth be told, this is the first bit of rest I have gotten in days! It is so wonderful that you built a place like this were people can enjoy a good meal."

"Do you find it ironic at all that you left the family business, then ended up opening a retsaurant anyway? I mean, I know this is only a side business compared to what contracts rake in, but this seems like it would either be a dramatic turn of events or a well planned way of sticking it to your father."

"I've been keeping myself busy these days. A lot of it is under the table operations, so I don't really get any sort of a cut. I'm usually paid periodically in Aurum credits from my employer. Between working for Eskola, getting paid to fight, and running the Summit temple, there isn't much more I could ask for in life. Though... I've always hoped that one day when Niina and I have built up enough money, we can settle down together and run our own corporation without having to resort to these shady arms deals she has me doing now.

"I can see it now! Eskola Ergonomics and Galm Heavy Industries!"

Their is a certain twinkle in his eyes when he thinks of it, though it isn't quite clear if which his is more excited about: The potential profit in the company or earning the love of its young CEO.
