When using the Neocom to either skill up or use the marketplace, it freezes on me. I can't do anything or back out of it using any buttons, though it makes the noises of button pressing nothing happens. The only thing that works for this is to use the PS3 XMB and quit the game. |

Ya, same happened to me last night. I was browsing through the market place, checking stats, when exiting out of the popup to return to the item menu, my navigation more or less locked up. The game did not freeze, as I could still hear all of the audible cues that my controller was affecting the game (the chirping clicks you hear when scrolling through lists), but my highlight/cursor never moved.
I too could only use the PS button to quit/exit.
...not to literally repeat everything in the OP ha. I'm just giving my experience as well. :) |

The same exact thing happens to me atleast 3 times a day.
It is obsurdly annoying and is slowly driving me to a craze.  |

I had this happen on the selection screen where you assign things you've bought or won to particular characters. I pressed triangle to see the characteristics of the item to be assigned and after that I got the lock-up the OP describes. |

I had the same issue three times today off a fresh reinstall. Before anyone says it yes I deleted the cache and was on a wired connection. Two times were looking at item info in the market and once fitting a suit. I am a bit relived that I'm not the only one having this issue. If I were a new player I would have promptly uninstalled the game. I hope they fix this as unlike eve this can't be called a feature. |

Fix this soon or i am uninstalling this game. A menu bug is fine for beta you have it on the live client and you should be sacked. |

Just got the ps3 today and wanted to check out the game. I can't get past fitting my first drop suit or looking at my skills cause this happens every time. For a new player it makes playing impossible. very disappointing!
