Seriously, if this camera lasts another day I refuse to fly anymore. It's simply the most unbearable thing to endure thus far.
It's so terrible, I hard no desire to fly a DS at all for as long as this camera remains. And I've been exclusively flying dropships since Day 1 of open beta.
This needs un-done. immediately |

I doubt it will be changed though since the assault version is being taken out soon. Another brilliant idea by ccp. |

I only fly mlt Derpships to crash them into Assaults. I can't even do that with this camera.
Do you hear this CCP?
I literally cannot intentionally crash a dropship because the camera is so bad.
It was my No.1 source of ragemail though, so maybe it's a mixed blessing for you dedicated pilots. |

Oh you have no ****ing idea.
The other one (1.4) was bad. In that it was not perfect, was in some ways worse than the previous and could have been a lot better.
This, 1.5 camera, is SO ABSOLUTELY $#&^ that I'd do anything to have 1.4 back.
Becuase 1.4 was playable.
This new camera is Not playable.
And I have zero desire to fly with this camera. If this was the future of dropship cameras for the game I'd quit dust.
But seeing as how it's likely the future of the remaining 3 months of dropships anyhow, that's long enough to make me wonder.
Even a month is too long. |

Lol. It's a byproduct of the fact CCP is doing wretched things with the DS camera, seemingly without rhyme or reason and constantly making it worse.
To the point now where I don't even want to play with it anymore. |

try hitting sustained fire on any target location.
Its virtually impossible
Then try shooting at another dropship without first person (which is also pretty bad) |

I Really really really liked the camera before the last update. It was spot on and i could even get intuitive kills with it.
this last update made it totally worthless.
Ill repeat it again
it was PERFECT before the last update

The new angle is in my opinion acceptable for flying a standard dropship - which is all we will have in the near future anyway, so I don't thin they're going to change much.
I feel both empathetic and smug at the same time. I specced out of dropships on my main character with the last respec because I saw this situation coming, but I also feel bad for anyone who wasn't here early enough to anticipate the issues. |
