So I wouldn't be surprised if the ISK donation stuff is just a way to get free ISK while they can profit from the possibility of a sick kid, since that's not against any of the rules for Eve or Dust.

So given the Eve/Dust communities reputation, CCP's own marketing that promotes that sort of evil/theft/etc as a positive for the games, as well as the senseless attacks on Amarr themselves, I would rather be on the safe side.

As most of you probably have seen here or heard around the community, STB leader QuickGloves and his family have been going through hell the past couple of weeks. This week's Drunk Night will be dedicated to raising money for them. It will be similar to the regular ISK giveaways, but it will NOT be "must be present to win". I'll explain. Any and all donors from downtime Friday the 11th to downtime Saturday the 12th will be entered at a rate of 1 ticket per $1 entered. I don't know how out-of-country donations work. If you can donate, great. If not, having you participate in Drunk Night and bringing your friends is good enough for me. To do this, I need proof of donation. When you donate, you should receive a confirmation email. Either screencap that confirmation email or forward that email to me with your character name. My email is [email protected]. ALL ENTRIES WILL BE SENT TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS. There is no other way for me to confirm donations. The fundraiser we will be sending money to is their GoFundMe find. There are updates on the GoFundMe page as well. I sent an email to GoFundMe explaining what I'm doing and asked if it was ok. Awaiting response now. If they say we can't, we'll find another way. This is happening.
