So CCP wheres those rendering a draw distance fixes you promised IN THE PATCH NOTES
not only are they not better things now
- disapear when you shoot them - null cannons now dont even apear reliably aboive 75ish meters - AV infantry can now be invisable up to and including AV granade trowing range... as oposed to the 75-100m cisability we had before... they can now get into 20m range and chuck AV granades while invisable.

zooming in while using a tank turret has this awkward quality of causing things to disappear rather then make things more visible. it does SOMETIMES help, but only in cases where your looking for an instalation specifically and your turret was already pointed at it...
infantry are more likely to disappear if you zoom in on them while they are visable, and zooming in doesnt cause more infantry to render... so basically the only thing zooming in helps for is targeting vehicles, otherwise dont zoom in or you will cause the targets you can see to disappear.

Really ? interesting ....it confirms my theory. The full rendering system is base on weapons effective range + intended function.
did you miss the point where if you shoot said turrets after you zoom they disapear again?
and how infantry fails to render even in extremes of 20m away?
concidering the biggest threat to tanks is infantry AV it seems a little odd that they are invisable to us...
full rendering system should be "ok this guns range is 600m? well then render all targets within 600m...." anything else is... just plain broken |

do you drive tanks? becuase it really sounds like you dont...
its been an issue since the uprising 1.0 rendering debakle and unlike rendering for infantry, vehicle rendering not only diddnt ever get fixed but has been made worse every single patch
and yes it IS a problem specific to tanks, a problem thats exsisted since the begining of uprising. a problem that has been routinly ignored and in some cases blatantly covered up by CCP |

now your just mocking me. its a brand new PS3 thats had everything set to minimum (and higher for testing) since forever.
the reason you dont see any tankers complaining anymroe is because
- its been 6 months and most of the tankers from pre-uprising quit the game -threads keep getting deleted -CCP has never publicly awknowledged the problem and most likely nobody is alowed to - theres a 6 page thread more then a month old on the bug reports side of things, and if you search "tank", "turret", "vehicle" rendering you will find ALOT of people complaining about it.
- please dont assume i dont test this stuff, testing it is what i do, i was a hardcore railtanker pre-uprising and the rendering problems absolutly killed everything except blaster mudrugars

I must set my Graphics to 420p right away!!!!! Thank you so much Tech Support The game have a Graphics Settings Menu, is set to HIGH by default. I thought everyone knew this by now.....
that was sarcasim, we have been trying any and all setting we can to improve rendering for 6 months....
every patch we play with the settings again to see if we can squeese any bit of rendering improvements we can.
basically anyone and everyone who tanks seriously knows all about changing settings to try to improve rendering. |
