Problems: 1)[Critical] This game lacks a story that all rpg players want.The reason that players want this is because by immersing yourself in that games story you grow to want to stay in that game. [Solution] The new eden universe has a vast history and lore, by putting these two into the game as story you'll draw more people to the game and give players that are already here another reason to stay.The way i propose you do this is by making group pve features like raids and dungeons that involve multiple players.The raids and dungeons can be split between faction, merc, and player.A faction raid/dungeon will only be available to players with enough standing and you will unlock more as your standing goes up.Merc raids/dungeons are available for all mercs and will be unlocked after gaining a certain amount of lifetime sp.Player raids are setup in null sec by players to dust mercs for extra loot for both sides and will be unlocked when both sides have a certain amount of lifetime sp.If anyone else has any further ideas to add to this please post them.
2)[Major] At the moment there are very few ways to gain isk and this problem forces some players to other games. [Solution]Adding raids and dungeons is one way to solve this problem.
One final thing about raids and dungeons, they will not be called this because of this type of game.Instead we can name them something else like S.W.A.T.(dungeons) Contracts & Militia(raids) Contracts, by the way dungeons are 4-8 man teams and raids are 12-16 man teams.(These numbers can be risen if the devs want to rise them for whatever reasons)
As a player that played many rpgs, i can't see myself playing a game that has no story no matter how good the game may be.As for isk, it's one of the reasons that discourages me from playing this game.I'm sure there are other areas that can be fixed, but i think these are the two most important for me. No story? lol... go to the war room...
