This is total Win.
Im really enjoying the new maps. Games are starting to feel more varied in terms of maps. Even with older maps the random nature of the sockets makes every one feel different, Dust 514 is starting to take shape finally.
All we need now is, all the races with a full compliment of basic weapons, dropsuits and the three core vehicles types. And I'll happily start spending money again. |

Because its not a socket map. Its a classic fps map with objects cooked on to it.
Technically thats skirmish 2.0.
Skirmish 1.0 had two zones, a moving MCC and a caldari base that had to be defended. |

Gotcha, I wish they would update that map for sockets then...
Its a legacy map. They gave it to us in closed beta while they were developing the socket system after they realised (I guess) that the procedural map idea wasn't working as well as they hoped. |
