this is what I currently have so far, still thinking of a good title.
Dust 514 Have you ever wondered what itGÇÖs like to fight on planets with dropsuits that you can fully customized at any time on the battlefield. Well in the Universe of New Eden, you can do that and much more. In this free to play MMORPG for the PS3 you can almost do whatever you want, from infantry to tanks, and even dropships. The customization of your dropsuits and roles in Dust 514 are some of the most important things to know on the battlefield. Tanks and dropships in the game are also an important aspect of the game as well because in New Eden, anything can turn the tide of battle. As you progress through battles you gain GÇ£skill pointsGÇ¥ that you can use to unlock new certain skills. There are four main factions in New Eden which are Caldari, Minmatar, Amarr, and Gallente As I tell you more about Dust 514, this game is a work in progress and more things are added to the game every month whether it is patches, bug fixes, or just adding content this game is worth playing in the long run.
The basics of the game are told to you through a video as soon as you select and make your first character. The first thing you will want to know is how the game works and how to effectively spend your skill points in specific suits, weapons, and modules. There are four factions and they all have their own weapons, suits, and vehicles that you can eventually skill into. The four main roles of all infantry are: GÇó Assault GÇó Logistics GÇó Scouts GÇó Heavy
As you progress through the game you will soon find out what you want to be and how you want to use them. Each class serves a specific purpose; the assault class are the frontline fighters, the logistics class are the team supporters and will help you throughout the battle, the scout are the stealthy assassins, and the heavy class are the only class that can hold heavy weapons that can either tearing apart infantry or destroying vehicles. All dropsuits need to be GÇ£fittedGÇ¥ in some form or fashion whether you want it to have more shields or armor or equip it with more tactical or support modules useful for you and your team.
Vehicles are some of the most dangerous but also essential to have in a team and there are currently only two types of vehicles with different ways of playing, tanks and dropships. The Caldari vehicles, which are shield based, are usually equipped with rail-guns and missile turrets for long range combat and the Gallente vehicles, which are armor based, are usually equipped with blaster turrets for close range on infantry and other vehicles. The way you fit your tank determines how long you will survive in combat and what advantages you have. Dropships are troop transports and always have 2 turrets on the side of them. There are three types of dropships, standard, assault, and logistics. The assault dropship is the only ship that has an extra turret that the pilot can shoot from. The logistics is able to equip many modules for many purposes and has the most health out of all dropships.
Throughout the game you gain what is called GÇ£skill pointsGÇ¥ and as you gain more you can spend them on certain skills that you are currently training on after you buy the skill book for them. The higher the skill level, the more advanced items for that skill are unlocked. The most important skills are dropsuits, modules, equipment and weapons. The higher the level of the item, the higher the cost it will be on the market. In the game there are two types of currency, I.S.K which is in-game money and Aurum which is real life money. I.S.K is earned through battles and is determined by how well you do in combat. Dust 514, unlike other games, is connected to EVE online, another MMORPG for the pc made by CCP. In the future they hope to bring the two games closer together so that EVE players in space can help out Dust players, also known as mercenaries, in and out of combat.

how does this sound?
Throughout the game the player gains what is called GÇ£skill pointsGÇ¥ and as he/she gains more they can spend them on certain skills that he/she is currently training on after the player buys the skill book for them. I.S.K is earned through battles and is determined by how well they do in combat. As a player progresses through the game he will experience many hardships along the way and will have to deal with many decisions, some of which will have consequences that will affect some peoples views on you.
Dust 514, unlike other games, is connected to EVE online, another MMORPG for the pc made by CCP. In the future they hope to bring the two games closer together so that EVE players in space can help out Dust players, also known as mercenaries, in and out of combat. Politics in Dust 514 and EVE online are very much like our real world politics and can sometimes get very intense if youGÇÖre the leader of a corporation. Corporations are similar to clans or guilds that you can join or make and create alliances with other corporations. Corporations are also allowed to participate in Planetary Conquest, where corporations can attack and own a district on one of the many planets in New Eden.

Very good but I think the first sentence is a bit "overly complex", try making it simpler.
It's a great read but try looking at it from the readers view, would the average reader know what a dropsuit is? Etc.
Anyways keep up the good work :)

Be honest ... you need to give potential new players some idea of what to expect, they need to know they will have to accept that they will be thrown into the lions den pretty much straight away and will have to get used to being slaughtered for 3-6 months before they are in a position to compete ... being in a corp and playing in squads can make this more bearable but it still isn;t great
The biggest reason why new players leave is the 1st few games after leaving the academy ... if they end up on the wrong side of a pubstomp a few times and come to the realization that this is pretty much what's going to happen for the 1st few months they'll switch off and go do something else, If they start the game knowing what to expect then when it happens they'll be more likely to stay ..eg I did start playing this game after being told it'll be hell for the first few months but it will get better after that as you gain SP |

Real nice intro. I like that. You introduce the reader into the world in a smart manner that encourages the reader to find out more about the New Eden universe. I was even interested and I've been playing for some time, lol!
My only suggestion is when you mention skill points again in the fourth or so paragraph. I would say something that acknowledges your mentioning of it earlier. Maybe have something that says, "As I mentioned before about skill points" or better yet "You remember those skill points that I mentioned earlier, well...". Just a thought. It keeps the conversation flowing so the reader won't feel like he's reading something over again. Sometimes the way things are said makes the difference in keeping the readers attention and/or having the reader double back, which breaks the "enchantment" of the flowing read.
But that's not a major gripe, I'm a writer myself so I'm always looking for ways to improve my own writing and like to pass on what I learned to other writers.
All in all, NICE JOB! Really liking it. LOL and smart man to put up the recruitment link. Keep it up mercenary!
