Hello, I took a short break from dust for a few weeks. I cam back today to try out the 1.5 patch after playing lots of other PC games, both shooters and non shooters.
The first thing that struck me is the mouse aiming felt very slow and 'clumsy' for lack of a better term. My initial reaction was to check my KB/M sensitivity settings but that was at 100%.
Is there any chance we can get increased sensitivity? I just want my mouse to feel like it does in all the rest of my games, fluid. Right now it feels restricted. |

Trust me, its a hindrance not an advantage. I think controller sensitivity should be improved as well. My brother tried the game with the controller the other day and he asked me
"Can I turn the sensitivity up?" But it was at max, so I hear your problem.
Theres no need to turn gamers away just because of controller / kb/m sensitivity. |

Yes you can spin around faster than the DS3 users (which I think should be fixed so they are the same sensitivty if thats what people select in the options) but im talking about fulidity and precision.
After playing BF3, Warframe, Mechwarrior Online as well as other games, I came back to dust and I just felt hindered, the precision was gone and it was sluggish.
I understand there are balancing concerns too.. |

Pure PC games don't need to worry about that, but DUST does, therefore removing the slower then normal sensitivity makes KBM better in every way then DS3.
Instant speed change, precision aiming control...
180 degree spins don't need to be added to its resume.
Then my problem is why offer KB/M support at all if it is going to be hindered? Just let us ALL increase sensitivity. Its only a damn game.
Or are CCP basically saying, we only want you to use a DS3 controller? They always said from day one with dust KB/M support would be here. Not some gimped version. |
