I like the emphasis on player trading and the eve link but dont forget about PVE, those 3 things are what dust needs to get revitalised and establish its identity. |

Well I like this guy, he sounds like he really wants to expand on that EVE/Dust link instead of having it barely there. He also put a good bit of emphasis on the fiction, which is great.
But truth be told, even if this guy isn't your favorite you should be happy. Dust 514 has an executive producer for the first time in months! Time for **** to get done!  |

I'm not sure how effective this will be for the Development team, and furthermore, CCP Shanghai;
I also feel a bit empathetic for him, since he is gaining command of an already dying playerbase, with a lot of work ahead of him in order to get this game upright.
While player trading and a connection from Dust 514 to EVE Online is something that needs to be greatly focused on, I think putting more content in the game that is actually pertinent to the game's survival should be first on the agenda; The release of the PS4 will greatly diminish our players (and BF4 as well, as that game's beta was a blast), but once Christmas comes around, I highly doubt this game will have a sufficient playerbase to make any real sort of income compared to what they could have used months ago.
I don't envy this man's position, as he is going to be in charge of a game that has a very ambivalently behavioral playerbase, and on top of that, a team that is very slow to make content additions to the game that is actually worthwhile (for an example, making a "starmap" integrated into the game, while there is no connection whatsoever).
I am hoping that this new executive director knows how to prioritize what needs to be released in order to keep this game alive, because we all know that the methodology that CCP has adopted right now is less than sufficient to keep a satisfactory player count. |

Key point here is that he is a producer.. EA is making some fantastic games. Star wars Battlefront with the boys from Dice using the new Frostbite engine for the ps4 for starters. I'm pretty sure this New producer isn't writing and code for DUST. I for one am excited to have him aboard. Welcome Sir! :) |
