I know I heard this already.
But my question is: The most common problem is network, you think you are somewhere but because of yours/his/hers network connection you aren't really where you think you are. So you think you shoot someone when really no one is there, or you hide behind a wall, to be killed, because you were already dead before hiding behind the wall. That I understand.
What I don't understand is:
This specific Merc was taking an objective, I have Heavy/Heavy, I started riddling him/her with bullets and believe me 475 bullets are allot. He/She finishes to take the objective untouched, turns around and kills me!
Now how is that possible. There is no-way I missed, I was 10-15 feet away.
Is that also a Network issue/glitch?

I have noticed this as well primarily with HMG for the first few seconds even at very close range, 6-10m that I am getting hit notifications but not damage. Also it happens less frequently but every once in awhile I will be medium/close range with a FG and the shell will explode centered on the enemy I hit but they take zero damage, and usually kill me before I can fire a second shot with unerring accuracy. |

Invisible wall. Sometimes the wall is longer than its showing. At least for the objectives with the 4 post around it. |

I don't think its a lag thing. Because I've been on the other end.
I've stood right in HMG fire and received ZERO damage as I shot him dead. I've had a Forge explode right in my face as I charged my SCR, I again took ZERO damage and shot him in the head and finished him off 1 shot after.
Usually lag means on my screen, they never got a shot off. So, its another broken invisible wall / hitbox mechanic. Probably the same one that has your grenades bounce off walls 5ft out. |
