I look forward to fighting you this week in FW. Unfortunately, I'm sensing a lot of the usual Minmatar FW players will abandon ship this week because most the time I face the Minmatar they are using Caldari or Gallente suits, so wouldn't it make sense for them to join Caldari or Gallente FW where they can get rewards for those items? Of course, the rewards actually have a very low ISK value to them so most of the long time players probably won't even care. |

I cannot help but pity you. I doubt you have known true freedom a single day of your life, nor have you people. You exchanged one loving master, for another uncaring one. And that's just it, how can the Minmatar not see that the Gallente are their new masters? |

But I can use all three of the minmatar rewards... 25 proto suits, 50 freedoms, and 100 six kins.
Decisions decisions...I do like my carthums...and probably use them more than I would the mass drivers.
Oh well. (( You could be a Kamiera, the most badass Minmatar ot live, who rubs the ashes of his fallen comrades into self inflicted wounds so that he may carry his companions with him wherever he goes that their sacrifice is not forgotten)) Kaimeras are bad ass. You also forgot to mention the part where Kaimeras are seen by many as the most elite fighting force of the Amarr Empire.
But yeah, born and raised to fight. Go in to battle and kick ass. After battle collect their fallen, burn their bodies, then cut themselves and rub the ashes on their wounds to carry their dead with them. It's just . . . ahhh. Every time I think about them I wish I was Minmatar (to be Kaimera), would be such an amazingly fun persona to role play!

I assume the "Loving Master" is Amarr? Breeding pens, vitoc, enforced hard labour.... Not exactly "loving" by most civilised standards. Not sure what or who you are referring to with the "uncaring one". Minmatar who remained loyal to the Empire are already gaining their freedom and moving up in the Empire, just as the Ni-Kunni before them and the Khanid before the Ni-Kunni. Heck, the Khanid, once slaves of the Amarr Empire, can even boast having one of their own becoming the Emperor. Meanwhile in the Federation, the Minmatar will forever be the lower class scums who get addicted to drugs which the government exploits because the drug cartel is good for the economy. |

Wow, you are delusional (and stereotypical), throw in some evidence please. The matari people ask nothing but to be left to their own devices, even if that means complete failure, at least they look back and say it was their own fault. The Federation has little or no say in Matari policy or how they rule themselves, the Federation (like many of their supporters) just can't abide Amarrian doctrine being imposed on a civilisation. Similarly the relationship between Caldari and Amarr is nothing more than the puppet and its master, respectively. Where was Amarr when Caldari Prime was retaken as an example. How am I being delusional or stereotypical? It is a known fact that the Gallente Federation has a huge drug economy. You ask for sources, then proceeds to make outlandish claims without any sources.
Here's this, http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=416457
And then let's look at some systems within the Gallente Federation,
Fluekele https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Fluekele_(System) "The Roden Shipyards Outpost is a popular stopover for Gallente citizens willing to partake in some of the more notorious activities in the Federation, such as gambling, prostitution, drugs and the like."
Harroule https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Harroule_(System) "Principal exports: Electronic components, narcotic medicines and illicit drugs"
Alsottobier https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Alsottobier_(System) "Being on the border between the Federation and the Republic makes the constellation also a prime location for smugglers, smuggling cheap Federation made goods into the Republic and drugs and small arms the other way."
And then you have a Gallente Federation civilian open firing on an entire Minmatar festival, http://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/world-news/broteau-found-guilty-and-executed-by-sebiestor-tribe/
And reports of widespread discrimination against Minmatar in the Gallente Federation, http://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/world-news/federation-minmatar-report-widespread-discrimination/
All of this directly relates back to how the Gallente really view the Minmatar in general, individuals they don't really care about but tools that can help them. https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Modern_Era_of_the_Gallente_Federation#Minmatar_Rebellion "Even if the Federation was high on victory against the State, military leaders knew that opening a second full-scale war against the Amarr Empire would be fatal. Nonetheless, for a long time, the Federation government observed and studied the Minmatar, realizing that they could be used to weaken the Amarr Empire."
"Despite the promise of the Minmatar Republic, many of its new citizens had doubts. To the average Minmatar, the Federation was a land of milk and honey, a promised place where freedom and happiness reigned. When the common inhabitant of Matar looked around, however, they saw poverty, malnourishment, and social dissolution."
"The Gallente did not know how to react to this [Minmatar immigration] initially. This was the first time so many individuals from beyond the frontiers of Federation space began settling on their own worlds. There were no laws that would stipulate the rights of those who were not born on Federation member worlds." |
