There have already been people intentionally throwing FW matches and this will only continue to get worse with the upcoming event. Now, while it's a perfectly valid thing to be able to do, you should not be able to repeatedly do it and ensure the outcome of a match almost every single time. This is why we desperately need a faction standings system, whereby if you lose a match, you lose some standings and if you win, you gain some standings.
However, you also lose/gain standings for deaths/WP.
Let's for example say you start neutral to all factions, neutral being 0. Win = +1 Lose = -1 Death = -0.1 500 WP = +0.1
Every day you gain passive standings for all factions until neutral at a rate of +0.1.
Max standings are +/-10
If you go below -5, you can no longer play for that faction and must wait until your passive standing gets you past that bound to be able to play for them again.
This is for the current iteration of FW and is intended to be simple enough to be included with minimal changes to the system as a whole. Future additions could include bonuses for reaching/maintaining positive/high standings but that's for another time. The whole purpose of this idea is to restrict players from being able to constantly ruin other people's games without them having any control over the situation.
And before people start talking about AWOXing and that sort of thing, whenever there are ways to grief people in Eve, there are also ways to avoid/safeguard against them to a certain extent. FWOXing should not be completely unrestricted and unrestrained. |

FW should run like small scale PC. reward = 0 if you lose, but is double the normal if you win. may cause a few issues, but atleast that way you wont get noobs throwing it like you have experienced |

Noobs going 2 - 10 I can deal with but someone going 0 - 35 having never left the MCC is an entirely different thing. |
