infantry are whiny, CCP nerfs tanks into the dirt 3 separate times with a debatable 4th nerf soom(tm) and you still want more.
also just FYI vehicle users don't want a vehicle only game mode. seriously, we like infantry, and AV it's a challenge and a source of endless entertainment. what we hate is stupid people that make crap arguments trying to run us out of town. tanks suck we do it as a labor of love, an addiction to that adrenaline surge that we get when the first swarm hits and the elation of redlining our hp only to rep at the last possible second. we do this because we like it. not for the kills, not for the kdr, but because it feels good. I personally guarantee you if CCP asked "if we buff tanks, but kills with them no longer count toward KDR and we will set all tankers kdr to zero would you support it" Every tanker would say yes.
there isn't a way to make you see things from a tankers perspective but trust me, if you saw this post the way we do you'd hate yourself for thinking it. |

then remove tanks! we will move on, it's no crime. but say what you really want. "I never want to see a tank again" is that so hard? the only crime I see here is that you don't want to kill tanking, you want to torture it. slowly and progressively making it worse and worse, twisting the red hot iron into the sides of those who enjoy tanks. |

I don't want tanks to be gone. I just want them to not be invincible, because that hurts the game. And it looks like CCP wants the same thing.
well they aren't invincible, you've gotten your wish. with every build they get worse. why remove them from ambush? |

seriously checkmate you're still on about tanks not being UP? I'd debate the point but it goes nowhere and I'm worried you'd pull a STD swarm on me.

I believe the topic at hand was removing tanks from ambush. as tanks are undeniably underpowered, that is unless you are playing with checkmate then they go inexplicably god mode. it is my belief that removing tanks from ambush would only further weaken the tank as a class especially considering that we only have three game modes to work with. to any butt hurt infantry men i would recommend getting yourself a STD swarm it's cheap and requires almost no sp but still effective. if you should find yourself tank spammed simply utilize the fact that they have basically no infantry to you advantage and fire swarms from cover. |
