So how often do you die from LR overheat?
Never. 270 shield hp, 120 after an overheat. My shield start to regen before the sieze duration is up and by the time I've reloaded, I'm back to full shields. |

See I find that hard to believe, because that suit has what, 500 hp altogether? So if you overheat after you've taken 300 or so damage, your clone is done. Unless you're trying to tell me that no-one ever shoots at you as you're shooting at them.
This tells me you don't use LRs....
STD LR overheat dmg is 150. |

150 hp is just under a third of your total suit HP. That's cutting it close isn't it, especially when people are shooting back at you and you are taking hits because you are aiming down sights and can't strafe as much. Also you avoided my question, and that gives me my answer.
270 shield HP + 243 armor hp = 513 total hp
Armor reps per sec is 6.25 Shield reps per sec is 40.
I also have a 4 second shield recharge delay with an 8 second depleted recharge time. Add that in with the smallest hit box in game + targets 70m+ away and you have a very good LR scout fit. If people get into my armor I just find cover and wait for shields to recharge. Minnie suits have the highest strafe speed in game..... I can dance around most shots coming in from 80 meters (excluding snipers). |

I used to run Proto smgs and scrambler pistols, but with the AA and strafe speed reduction, deaths became too common for me.
I don't think I'll be running Minnie scout very much after 1.5 drops though. Gallente might be the new standard for scouts with their ability to avoid scans. (lotta lows) |
