I Wonder what they'll be like, I'll give an educated guess.
Ion Pistol - Charge up blaster pistol, maybe shotgun-like pistol?
Bolt Pistol - Long ranged high damage pistol with low clip and RoF?
Magsec SMG - Opposite of current SMG? Low RoF, high damage, long ranged sidearm maybe
Combat Rifle - 5-7 round burst rifle?
Precision Rifle - Not to sure, hopefully some type of DMR!
Rail Rifle - Long ranged, low RoF, high damage, full auto rifle?
I have a feeling I'll fall in love with a Burst Rail Rifle.

I reckon the ion pistol will be somewhat similar to assault forge gun with how they described it, basically a quick charge shot that fires immediate after full charge. Also betting the bolt pistol will have a real scope. |

I'm looking forward to seeing what the bolt pistol is like - if I can have a breach scrambler pistol with decent range (which is what the bolt sounds like) I may well have to make the switch even though I love my scrambler. |

An anti vehicle sniper rifle would be nice, like the Barrett .50 cal in real life. Not against HAV but against LAV. Shoot an LAV in the hood and it stops, like hitting the engine block, shoot it in the rear quarter panel it takes critical damage, like hitting the gas tank. |

Ion Pistol - our real world equivalent of being hit with a magnum 357 revolver ( a man stopper). 6 shots per clip, slow reload time.
Bolt Pistol - real world equivalent of an M9 beretta; high magazine size,only for 2-3 clips. a last resort weapon.
Combat Rifle - Minmatar's AR slightly slower RoF than the gallente's blaster rifle, but packs a bigger punch to compensate
Precision Rifle - minmatar's sniper rifle, because it fires Bullets instead of plasma, PHYSICS! to compensate, it is a man stopper. heavies will tremble at the sound of the Precision rifle echo through the field.
