When these new vehicle changes arrive, please remove all AV weapons advanced-officer and refund the isk and sp accordingly. Take away then return officer weapons once done. Disable salvage for these items or take them away then return them once the changes are nearly complete. It would be extremely unbalanced and game-breaking otherwise if tankers must use basic level HAVs and modules against advanced to even officer weapons. If you agree, like and comment below. |

I'll set aside my swarms and AV nades, but I don't think it will be needed honestly because AV is going to be adjusted in 1.7 as well. |

has ccp mentioned giving havs a base res...it makes no sense that logi lavs come with 30% res naturally but tanks start with 0 a better way over all to balancing tanks is really simple, give all tanks a base res stat that equates out, so it would be able to tank its tier of current av...i do not care enough to run numbers so i couldnt tell you what that base stat should be. and i am not a mathematician.
it seems to me the answer is simple really..the logi lavs because of that base stat resistance are balanced vs their tier of av...so why do tanks and durps not have the same but higher as they are of a diff class of vehicle..ccp is wasting time to completely overhaul vehicles its stupid this game is progressing to slow.
they could balance the fits they have here vs the av they have here by applying one stat that they ALREADY HAVE IN FOR LOGI LAVS..to all vehilces..instead they are gunna make this a slow and painful process that may or MAY NOT come out balanced and will ruin what is left of the already fragile dust 514 vehicles community.

CCP said they will be changing the stats on the AV weapons at the same time as the vehicle changes come in, so it's not necessarily going to remain as unbalanced as it is right now. |

Morte Actually I do believe the marauder HAVs came with base resistance, cant remember how much is was though. Unfortunately we have no marauder tanks anymore so... yeaaa lol. |

AV is getting changed up anyway - at least wait until the details for that are out.
Vehicle users aren't stuck with just basic mods - there will still be advanced and proto mods.

Morte They are removing them anyways... And it's honestly the only reason why driving a LAV for repping a tank could work. Without it's resist I'd get one hit by proto swarms. |

Im fine with getting a refund on adv/proto AV but I would seriously be scared with CCP touching officer gear in our inventory. They could just temporarily jack up the PG/CPU requirements for them so they cant be fitted and reset them when AV has been adjusted. |

while they are at it they could add a minimum distance before a mass driver round explodes. Nothing pisses me off more that a mass driver shooting at his feet to kill me
