In Dust we have a pitiful number of statistics.
KDR
Win/Loss
WP
That's it. But I feel like to personalise our player load outs more, since we do not have access player cards, bio sections, and general basic and very effective EVE features it would be pleasant to expand the statistics that we as players have so we can better see what each others play styles are.
Statistics I would suggest are such things as accuracy ratings, I am sure I cannot be that hard to implement a tracker to measure this, favourite weapons used, damage dealt with weapons, HP healed, HP you had repped, as well as various other statistics that would better reflect our play styles.
Ribbons or medals for certain values of damage dealt over time, HP healed, WP earnt. All of these things would better personalise our player cards.
Now personally I would also like to see other statistic that better represent your personal focus, or that of your corporation.
Medals or ribbons that reflect PC battles fought in, won, districts held, claimed. Factional Warfare matches served in, won, districts or systems plexed/ fought over for a certain percentage.
What I environ are ways of distinguishing players apart through stats, ways to see and know how a player is running their game. Have they spent their time loyal to one faction, are they true mercs serving all or none, has this person been on the front lines of 100 FW or PC matches.
It would be nice to have a service record. Would make recruiting and vetting players that much easier.

Though I agree with you, some sort of rewards to act as an indicator saying, "Hey, this is who I am!" I also like Evicer's idea of special suits that you can only use after winning say 100 FW for a single faction, or better yet winning say 100 FW for a single faction while maintaining a specific win/loss ratio so you can tote around the battlefield and perhaps your teammates will see you and be all, "Hey look at that, True Adamance clearly goes all out for Amarr FW and knows what he's doing, let's rally behind him!" or strike fear in the enemy. Duty is its own reward. For sure. But that's not the point, I want to track through players stats and skills and look at what sort of information they have about themselves, finding out that blaster tank is stupidly accurate at 88% accuracy, or that sniper is terrible and has never hit his target. |
