No armor instead I use complex mods to hide, If they can't see me they can't hit me basic compact nano hive, why wast money when cheaper will do Interesting idea on the scanner, but never used it so don't know how or if it really works or is worth it. Why in the world would you take a 140K+ suit down to lay mines?
I sometimes when my team is getting stomped runout with a scout lay a dorp link and some mines, then fight to the death and respawn with a snpr to take them down.
I like the fact that someone is talking about this, let me know what you think. |

Nice. Why the scanner though? As a sniper surely all your targets are beyond any scanner's range.
I'd have a quantum hive & reps personally. It would probably leave enough space for another armour plate. Then again, as long as it has a Thale's, a Dragonfly would satisfy me. |

You've got four equipment slots and reduced resource costs on all of them, so you could fit whatever you wanted but as a sniper you're only going to make use of Nanohives and that one Scanner which just happens to have an insane amount of range. They might be out of your range, that's true, but you'll definitely want to know when someone is within that "yellow zone".
A Dragonfly is a poor choice when using officer weapons just because of the low survivability that comes from limited slot layouts. You want to survive long enough to react to what's going on and be able to recover - rather than outright lose the weapon. |

it is imperative a snipers ability to remain electronically invisible on the battlefield, its also pretty handy knowing where people are electronically on the battlefield before they know where you are.
Pilots are pretty much my worse fear on a battlefield. |

Without a Thale your pretty much screwed and snapping of a couple of shots with less than millimeter accuracy of error either side of your target to land a 2nd or 3rd shot left or right, whatever way he jumps after sussing out he just lost his shields for some reason.
Its a nightmare, find 2 people having an SMG due close quarters and help a brother and harvest assists. Continualy being on the move at the edge of the map and taking assists without a kill is still very helpful to your side. |
