In pubs anything above advanced gear is trying pretty hard.
Just saying.
Especially if you aren't playing the intended way and you're in a squad.

You've seen me in countless proto suits?
Lies and slander good man. The only proto you see me in on any average day is my Ishukone Forge Gun, because god gun is god gun. Even that is on an advanced suit, and only comes out when people decide to drop too many vehicles. I can't help it if no one wants to kill me and I have to pull in 20+ infantry kills cuz some scrubs thought it was ok to drive a vehicle with me around.
And that last line you quoted of me was 100% troll sarcasm. Of course this game was built for proto PC squads.
I'm just saying that proto pub squads are sad and make the rest of us laugh (some rage). That's all. |

Lost almost 100 million ISK when Uprising first launched trying to make a PC worthy logi ship....that....that did not go well.
And to this day I've yet to enter a single PC match that doesn't give me a full system freeze.
Aaaand I still fly logi even though I barely go past 3 matches with it and it costs me 600K per death  |

I use one piece of proto gear in pubs, occasionally

Everything else is advanced or lower, though every so often I'll bust out my neo scout just for hahas, I'm trying to get rid of the last of those.
And I was specifically alluding to proto squads being the sad ones. Proto solo is still funny, but nothing like proto squads. In pubs anyways. Not that you guys have anything better to do, this game is ******* tiny. Just amusing, is all. |

but if you feel you need to deny it its cool my point to this thread is dont hate on someone for using proto gear if thats 1 what they prefer 2 they have the money 3 because the just feel like it.
from now on when i see u guys in fw i will use proto gear because i have the isk to do so. also so i can pull 30 to 40 kills on you and you know im good for it.
I have a live stream and plenty of recorded videos on my youtube. Most of those do not have proto gear, because I do not use proto gear in most matches.
I also do not play FW.
All I'm saying is proto pub stomping literally takes no skill. When my noob ass tops most of my pubs solo in militia gear, you KNOW trolling pubs in proto squads takes no skill. That's all. You're welcome to it, it doesn't bother me in the least. Simply stating facts. Majority of pubs offer no real competition, so bringing your sunday best is just...silly.
But hey, play whatever way makes you happy

I'm not hating on anyone, just stating my opinions on the matter as someone who does more than plenty fine solo in militia gear most days.
If PC didn't **** my PS3 and if my anxiety wasn't so high these days (**** comms) I would have plenty of ISK to just fly the days away. All my proto gear is wasted because infantry play is so easy and predictable for me, I just want to fly again. These new dropships look boss, so saving my SP now if my brain allows it lol. We really need a queue system for skills like in EVE, where you select a skill and all your SP earned is immediately dumped into that skill until it's unlocked.
::shrugs::
I've been on a self imposed squad ban since Uprising launched, though I might start going mic'less now that squad finder is a thing. |

Well technically old dropshps, the Grimsnes and....whatever the calamari one is called.
They're currently set to receive a dramatic buff, and are basically whole new ships. If the changes hold, it's going to be a lot less painful being a pilot, if you can figure out some fits (and there are some mean fits you can make with these new numbers and one or no turrets) |

Well knowing CCP I bet they refund vehicle command tree without refunding vehicle upgrade tree
