The Dyst0pian Corporation is an ambitious corporation, we are very casual yet serious where it counts. This is an interactive corporation and there is structure, but no one is going to trip on you or act like they are better than you. We also strongly discourage s#it talking behind other mercs backs, and condescending comments. Nothing worse than nerds that try to make themselves feel better about getting their lunch money stolen, by acting like they are tough over a mic, we absolutely do not tolerate that call of duty type bulls#it.
We have an organized strategy that employs squad tactics, and a communication ladder on the battlefield that promotes organization and order. The comms are in a "infantry < squad leader < 1st commander < CEO" structure, and we do not have an academy so you will be playing a role in our PC's. If you get in while we are still in the building/open enrollment phase, there is a good chance for fast promotion if you show the qualities we like in our mercs.
Please don't ask for any isk signing bonuses or special treatment because you have 15million lifetime SP. We are not looking for someone that is just going to bail in a month to a higher bidder, we are looking for someone that wants to build a corporation with us, and be proud to recruit their friends into a fun corp with some good guys/girls that want to have a great time while kicking some ass, we believe that the fun of the game is reward enough (and it is a game, not a job). We currently have over 80 mercs, but that is in 2 different countries so we can cover attacks and defends in multiple time zones, and of course there are some inactives that need to get kicked to make room for actives.
Any application will be considered, even if you are new, but highly desired positions are as follows: Snipers; Tankers; heavy suits; repairers.

Hey Loschi, the answer is both, the corporation can help you and you can help the corporation. I have a playing style a lot like you as far as the lone wolf style, and I quickly found out the same thing, it doesn't work on this game. Although there are some fits such as a scout, sniper, or droplink logi that would accomadate that play style. I have elected the logi style, but that doesn't mean I am a lone wolf anymore. My squad leader and ultimately my 1st Commander always know where I'm at and can usually provide cover fire on my position if I request it. My corp can help you develop your squad tactics, put you in the exact playing style role you preffer, and maybe most important help you develop your player a lot faster. Plus there's the added benefit and fun of Planetary Conquests, which you can only participate in if your in a corporation, and is really the whole point of the game. Give us a try and see what you think. Go to Corporations in your start menu from the neocom, select search and put in "The Dyst0pian Corporation" (the 0 in dyst0pian is a zero), then select the dystopian corporation(there are 2 corps, select the one with "the" in front of it), then select apply to corporation. Apply now, all reasonable applications considered and we will soon have a training acadamy if your less experienced. We currently have Dropship training courses available, as well as some corporate positions still open for hire. |
