Not sure there were any changes to any weapon anywhere for 1.5. Probably just a random good NK hit detection etc game for you.
Didn't know you could run and charge before 1.5 - isn't that one of the things we *want* ?

Yeah, we use to be able to run-n-charge but it was a glitch.
I don't notice any difference as I have not tested that yet. I'll get around to it when I can. In the meantime... crap. |

I second that notion. You have hit all the right points sir, especially about the knife animation delay/ cease sprinting mechanic. It sucks for us real brawlers out there that like to use assault suits to take a couple hits while moving in for the haymaker. Couple that with the aiming mechanic changes and you have a weapon that is non competitive. The increase in active scanners also exemplify this weapons ineffectiveness in organized combat.
What you see now is alot of sacrificing low powered modules that used to be kinetic catalysers or armor plates, for profile dampeners to compensate for being "Big Brothered" the entire match. Kinetic catalysers were fun while they lasted, but now since vehicles arrive in seconds the initial sprints of the crack suits at the beginning of the match are now obsolete.
To reiterate, the aiming mechanics make it too easy to hit fast targets. Even scouts! So now scouts have to slow down and ninja down their profiles.
I chose the Amarr assault even for my knifing class because i would still be able to run approx at 9.5 M/s with full shields and my standard armor (The CPU/PG on the amarr assault is awesome), but all of these changes are attacking it's unique effectiveness that i really enjoyed about this weapon/suit combination. So kinetic cats are now less usefull and the game is quickly becoming "Tanked suit 514." Where everyone has to go fatty/damage mods with their suit just to win that 1v1 or 2v1 in the middle of the match. I hope you brought your profile dampeners with those knives, because you do not wanna get spotted.
