Unless I'm mistaken adding the capacitor would require a rework of modules to be more in line with EVE meaning going from the active-cooldown method to the design where you activate the module and then it runs on capacitor until it either runs out of capacitor or you deactivate it yourself. While this would be interesting surely, it may actually be a bit more difficult to balance.

Then there's the fact that unlike EVE where you target something and the turrets lock, auto track, and auto-fire, allowing you to micromanage everything else, the driving/piloting in Dust is a bit more involved as which will make micromanaging a bit more difficult on the ground level.

Honestly I'm all for capacitor however but it's something they would have to do right the first time if not it will probably take even longer to balance than anything else the game has ever had. Should they choose to add it though they have my vote for the simple fact that it would start paving the way for electronic warfare.
