Gameplay is acceptable.
Content is not.

Nope. Not even REMOTELY related to my answer.
I want dropsuits/vehicles and more to do, rather than more 'server fixes,' hit detection fixes,' and other nonsense that does nothing but waste man hours.
You can't tell me you're happy with Caldari + AR or Minnie Scout + Shotty, or HEAVY + HMG (yeah, there's only one option for that).
Besides, screw your framerate I want an MTAC. = )

Lea Silencio wrote:It doesn't have to be "either or". They can incorporate both in alternating sequences. Mechanics are much improved but still not 100%, nor will they ever be. I do have to agree with Spkr though...gameplay always comes first. Content should be a reward and given in small doses with plenty of in-between time.
Last content update was Flaylocks + Scrambler rifles. That was 1,000 years ago.
We get 'mechanics' fixes every patch, and most of those are fixing things the hundred chimps at a hundred keyboards broke during the 'repair' process.
The fact remains, the game works. My Amarr tank, or Caldari scout does not.

I play a decent amount. Haven't seen an HAV last more than a minute in so long, it's hard for me to specify.

LOL I welcome them. Far better than Ishukones.
Can't argue that.
Four of them are still gonna blast you into the ground though.
Also, this:

No one's gonna want to live in a house with a REALLY sweet foundation, but only two walls, and those are only on the first floor.
Better to have a decent house with a pool, tennis courts and a three car garage, even if the front door sticks, and the showers get cold after an hour.
Beats a furnished basement with nothing upstairs, no?

Thank you sir.
I find I like you PIE guys more and more. Also, regardless of the picture, I'm an Amarr at heart.
We ought to squad up sometime. For what it's worth, I run an Amarr assault suit and assault scrambler. = ) |

True Adamance wrote:Spkr4theDead wrote:True Adamance wrote: Who are you to deny players Matari and Amarr HAV?
What would they matter if gameplay is still not where it should be? Do you even tank? Yes, though I don't enjoy it not because gameplay is poor, but because I cannot use an Amarrian HAV. Sure I am not as good as you but my opinion is no les valid on the subject, to think that is close minded of you.
I'm (well, I was) a tanker. It's simply unrealistic right now.
EVERYONE can kill a tank fairly easily solo. When multiple people (with zero investment) gang up on you, there's really nothing left for it.
We've switched out nearly all our tankers for Forge Gunners in our PC team. Mostly because HAV's aren't an advantage, whereas FG's can still snip up high, while denying area to the entire map.
The entire system is broken, and it's (honestly) the same reason we have the sp system we have. People are afraid. Mostly of teaming up, but their fear led us to where we are.
Skill cap = Fear vote.
Nerf HAV = Fear vote.
Most people are too afraid of dealing with an old school tank. Mostly because it wasn't something you could do solo. You needed actual AV guys, and generally more than one of them who occasionally were supported by milita swarms/FG's.
Now you need two guys with a grenade and a launcher. Or a single forge. Goodbye vehicles.
Honestly, I wish they'd make an event banning AR's for a week. Would make the game interesting again, if nothing else. Would be nice to see the 'lasers are OP' threads again.

Aero Yassavi wrote:Also should you ever need a new corporation, PIE has been accepting non-Amarr races into our sister corp since 2012. It's essentially the same thing but with a slightly different description for role play purposes.
I appreciate the offer, but I'm OSG for life.
Were you to play with us, I'm certain you'd feel the same way. = )
We actually span multiple games as well, though I'm not sure you do (or that it's appropriate to discuss here).
Either way, I'll join PIE Ground Deployment next time I'm in there.
Stupid Gallente picture. = /
I don't even like them, and honestly MEANT to click Minmatar. = )
Stupid (old) interface.
Either way though, I'm not 'swayed' by racism or slavery. In fact, I tend to like those things when they aren't applied to real life. Gimli/Legolas would NOT be nearly as cool if they didn't 'hate' each other. = )

True Adamance wrote:I'm out 4 Million SP because content that should have been in game was not.
My KD/R (useless I know) is perpetually 1.4n because I went for MONTHS after the last respec without spending points. Mostly waiting for new content (that never came).
I'm probably a better player because of it, and I've certainly been doing better since spending, but months of militia fits will really mess up 'stats.'
Either way though, I've since stockpiled around 5 million, so I see where you're coming from. = /
True Adamance wrote:Sorry your alliance fights for the dirty gallente scum. As much as you seem like a cool guy I cant get on with your corps alignment. Also good to see you are more open minded about this game and not just one of the more generalist players.
Yeah, well they paid better. = )
Worth mentioning, we're done with that, and I've managed to get quite a few Amarr converts in my squads. Most people like being the 'bad guy' I find.
Also, Dat gold trim.
