not entirely. u could have tied it. or at least damaged him. u could have rammed him and forced urself around him while he is turning his blaster to at u. then turn ur repper on while his is off and then FINISH HIM. now tht might be easier said than done but i believe it would have been possible in tht senario. sometime what i do is ram them so they can't shoot me til my repper is back. then i have some armor back and enough to FINISH HIM. :D

That and my burned in instincts to not sit in one spot for more than 5 seconds lol. The anxiety of getting OHK'd by a nade, forge gun, or charged sniper shot to the head from sitting in one spot is unbearable for me T-T

and ur seemless unlimited stamina was probably full. u probably couldn't handle being at max capacity as far as sprint speed is concerned. :D

Neutron can't keep up with the reps of an efficient rep. Any fight other than him getting the jump on you was a foregone conclusion.

omg lol.. 8:45 you trap Fiddle on the front of your tank, he hops in to avoid being tk'd, shortly after he hops out and gets retrapped. you start to get shot by the tank behind you, forcing you to keep going, fiddle hops back in to avoid getting tk'd once more. at 8:57 fiddle hops out one last time trying to get back to the city and gets crushed by you XD

The difference isn't that great, but it is noticeable. Hopefully it gets fixed at some point.

How does that fit fare against Clay's blaster with a damage mod? I've only encountered him while I have had rail or missile tanks.

The only fit that doesn't feel TOTALLY underpowered imo.

I don't get how people still don't know about it. We have been talking about it for months on the forums, and I tell every new(ish/er) tanker I meet about it, but somehow people haven't been given the gift of the fit.

I just wish it wasn't one fit to rule them all.

Nitrous would prevent him using the rear of the tank like a shovel, and you could even counter ram if you choose good terrain for it. You could end up either underneath, or facing his front, with nitrous still running, in which case you ram him, pop him up and turn the tables.

Or he lands on you and blows you up.

I like just having my own personal fit. Once people figure out how nice it is, then people learn how to fight them.

I have a couple of different options regarding the Vayu builds. Different degrees of hybrid for the situation.

I've been using a 3500/4500 setup, the 7k shield is really an anti-infantry only tank, because the lack of a heat sink makes tank battles no good.

Give me an Amarr tank with a 4/4 layout and I will tear the mother down.

There are no secrets.
Perhaps you have a nice build but this build cant avoid the weakness of the vayu. Meaning if my tank wont kill it the AV will

Nice video man (aside from the music) and some nice driving, but I have to ask out of my own curiosity, where were the legions of proto AV that render tanks completely unusable in PC? I hear from most people is that tanks are useless in PC and apart from that poor guy in a tank no one even had a go at you! When i saw you call in a tank i was expecting to see you drive it 3 feet and it blow up

The hybrid Vayu is underrated. I got a couple of ideas for next week that should increase the effectiveness of the fit.

The big thing is that the Vayu is not a 1 v 1 situation, as it requires support, and those poor bastards don't even get WP for doing the best work in Dust.

Teamwork is OP.

Edit: Put the forge in the LLAV, that way he can drive and hit the sweet spot. Keep a logi with a codebreaker in your missile turret for extra DPS.

u still havn't 1v1 me. and i have done lots of PC and affected it just as much as u have. the only reason i can't do it vs TP is because of ur AV. and since i was ringing for hellstorm at the time they have terrible communication and just accepted defeat. plus terrible tactics. XD so i couldn't do much then. :D
