I doubt that xbox will have it, Microsoft refused to allow CCP to have the game on their servers, so CCP went with sony because they did allow CCP to have their own servers. |

I find it funny how history seems to repeat itself and lessons learned are often forgotten. In reading this and its links to past events I came across the following:

Now, this pertains to Eve not Dust 514 but I just found some things stated ironic considering comments on these forums and from the CPM in regards to their interaction with CCP Shanghai

ask around, everyone knows that CCP doesn't have any plans publically to move dust to ps4 and save its life |

Halo is property of Microsoft and their main exclusive game, dust is neither of those, dust is playstations ONLY exclusive sifi space game. |

Dust will fail going up against most.
Anyway - MS would never allow CCP cross-platform play and this game might do OK on PC but could also easily have a smaller player base.
I think PS4 is probably still the best place for it to end up but CCP should contract a team to make the game. They can consult but leave the game to guys who know how to deliver. A partnership with the right group and this game could sing. |

Well, if they don't have a PS3-exclusive deal with Sony then I really don't understand some of the decisions they have made.
Chief among them being what was the point of that bizarre launch without marketing in May?

Except there's way more than 10 games at launch. Of course I'm not getting them all, but the games I'll be looking at for launch:
PS2 (free).
Warframe (free).
Driveclub (free Plus edition).
KZ:SF (comes with bundle).
Assassins Creed 4.
Watch Dogs.
Plus other games I might decide to pick up down the line.
I'm sure that will keep me occupied for a while. |

This, pretty much. Also, Dust might've been a great title to put on the PC if it hadn't been for the fact that Planetside 2 was totally a thing.

the main reason it wont be on pc is because CCP already has EVE online as their PC game and they originally and still want to bring in the console gamers to get interested in eve online, they wont achieve this by bringing in more pc gamers..
it wont be on pc mainly because they already have eve on pc and they are aiming at the console gamers with dust |

Correct. Microsoft just got too greedy and wanted to CCP to pay up the nose. That and there was an issue with the fact that DUST was not going to operate mainly within M$'s servers. |

The FPS marked become bigger on the consoles in the past years.
Cross platform is a no no, Dust needs to be at the eve online servers.
A PS3 and PC cross? Well the KB/M PC player would destroy the DS3 users.
No plans for a PS4? THIS is the most disappointing I have heard about Dust so far. |

plus xbox just ******* sucks, they have inferior technology, they didn't even come with built in wifi or internet while ps3 did, if anyone disagrees then go back to your cable box.
No built in hard drive, no built in HDMI in the first couple of iterations, controllers don't have built in batteries, not Bluetooth compatible, pay to play online.... what else? |

Me personly belive that when/if dust iron out al it's faults and issues there will be a ( grand )rerelease on ps4.
It's like the gaming on ps3 is like a test period 4 that regardless what they are saying in media.
Idk it's the way I feel about it any way.
