since the beginning of uprising, and open beta basically, tanks have no real purpose in PC or pub matches other than point defense and enemy suppression.. other than that, if they try to go in its like asking a lone scout to run into a full squad of heavies..

So, aside from obviously linking the video with propaganda from you, I see a video with terrible music, and a not-concerted effort on the part of the other team to destroy the tank; note, also, that his team was running PRO gear, and was able to kill or suppress the enemy team's AV, and, also note, that he had 14 kills at the end of it, and took > 37,000 damage from AV and a poorly place orbital.

That's what I saw from the video. He was basically a nuisance to the other team, not destroying them single-handedly like you're so fond of shouting out. Plus, he used his brain and didn't expose himself more than he had to, and also note, the other team did not have a single tank to counter him.

Wow, what a brilliant thing to say. Tanks shouldn't be effective against other tanks. I can't say the things I want to. I'll just have to deal with it in game as it pertains to you.

I double teamed a known tanker twice today. Also rammed a friend's tank because he stole it, and destroyed it with a lesser tank. I didn't lose my own.

I'll repeat: you don't know what you're talking about. I'll make an offer again. We'll squad up sometime Wednesday, and I'll give you a PC-quality tank in blaster, rail or missile configuration for you to drive around. If you keep it alive 5 matches in a row, then I'll agree that tanks might be OP. If you lose it the first match, then I don't want you to post in another tank thread ever again.

But here's the stipulation: only matches with ADV AV or greater counts.

Legend is one of the best tankers in dust, you cant ask people to become that good. That's like me telling you that you need to be the absolute best at what you do just to be effective.
