If we are realistically looking at next year it would be a nice gesture to offer a respec of vehicle skills so the dedicated pilots can have some fun in the meantime. I took the last available respec to get out of dropships and it has saved my sanity and my wallet.

They can't even throw us this bone.
CPM has been stressing the importance of getting this information published as soon as possible to the CCP community team and we are being heard on this subject. The Community team is doing almost everything they can to get it out early as possible and working with the involved developers on the subject on various aspects including or possibly bypassing additional messaging, blog decisions, translations and scheduling and the sorts that normally causes delays on information from NDA known to public known.
There will be an update to the CPM on the matter tomorrow or something better (from my point of view in Central US time zone).
The community team has been helpful explaining the hold ups and listening to the CPM reasoning as to there is a need to not 'schedule' this information as its really not a 'commercial' (cpm's term) but more later on.
So if something really good happens thank the Community team.

NEVER promised to be a vehicle patch. I know you guys are frustrated and all but going around and labeling patch 1.5 is this but now its the NPE patch or labeling 1.6 as a vehicle patch before the patch notes lands (or even the theme of 1.6 is well known) for that patch is going. Development happens, and developers typically don't promise anything. Warframe is still waiting on a grappling hook they showed working months (+6 now) ago and they're still running into problems with it like zipping to xyz 000. I know its easy to get excited over new features as soon as they're somewhat made public but to buy into the point that it is thought to be a promise is only going to hurt your expectations when development does happen.
